As Alouette sleeps, she dreams. But it's not just a dream--it's a memory.
...
"Hey, Lark!" A nickname... He was the only one she allowed to call her that. "Are we going out today or not?"
"I don't know..." She watches as she teases him. "I was thinking that maybe I should go see ---" her voice grows muffled as she says the name, and Alouette can't make it out.
"But-!" He starts to protest, but she cuts him off.
"I'm joking." She says, laughing. "Of course we are." She hugs him, resting her head on his chest.
He holds her close and ruffles her hair. "When will that stop being funny?!"
"When you stop making it funny." She pokes his nose. "'For the dancing and the dreaming; Through all life's sorrows and delights...'"* she sings, reminding him of...(what was she reminding him of..?) Something, and he smiles.
"So sweet."
It's then that the dream starts to fade, and she frantically tries to hold onto it.
"No, not yet, I haven't seen who--"
The last threads dissolve away, but still, she hasn't seen his face.
...
((*yes. Yes I had to do that because that is the sweetest song I've ever heard~~ and I just had a brilliant idea to end the OTP wars, but I'm not saying what it is~~
...I got impatient. She's not awake yet, so don't say so xD))
