He spoke quietly to the girl. "Killing someone is one thing, but..." Skri'ik sighed. "Embracing that murderous intent is another monstrosity entirely. People like that are very, very dangerous to such a delicate world. If killing her accomplished something worthwhile, we would have done the courtesy of putting her to the sword already. But because it does not, it is our job to simply keep the leash on her powers and insanity. She may well be just a dog for now, after what she has done."
His eyes glanced at Endal, and then moved back to the girl.. "So, if you're staying, that's one. If another stays, then two of us will accompany Cyra. That should suffice, and it also means no-one will be without company." Skri'ik did not want to do this - one less person, less knowledge to share... but there was no real reason for not splitting it up like this. Cyra was too weak, and another person to protect Endal would certainly not hurt.
Skri'ik rose his voice again. "So, who else wants to protect Endal, and who wants to tag along to find the others? I'll help find the others. It's up to you two, Liro and Fauna."

Cyra watched the newcomer comment on the whole 'dog' situation. Skri'ik replied with his usual wordiness. Something about murder and justice. She couldn't care less.

"Yeah about that, I still can't bark right." She laughed. "Maybe I can growl though. Hmm."
Himinn looked at Skri'ik, then looked back at Cyra.

'He doesn't know that Cyra might have magic taint, then...' she thought. She didn't dare speak this out loud.

Himinn isn't sure how'd Cyra react if she said it, but she has a feeling it wouldn't be pretty.

The group had reached an issue after a girl had shown up or was going to take care of the Guardian of Magic, Endal, whilst he was knocked out inside the cave. One of them had to go with her. Currently it was left to himself and Liro to decide. Fauna, knowing that he didn't need anything outside of the cave, had reached a decision. "I will accompany this girl to take care of Endal. Besides, whilst I am there I can also look for Pyro and," he hesitated, he couldn't reveal anything about his darker side... his blood magic side, "erm, nevermind that." The Guardian nods his head towards Skri'ik and Liro, "I expect yous two to treat that thing how it deserves." He smiled at Liro's sword. "Adios amigos!" Fauna laughed and in one swish of his cloak, he was gone~ Or, walking off.

"Thing? I thought I'm a dog? Apparently I'm an object now?" She looked at Skri'ik. "Or am I a dog doll? But dolls can't bark or growl. Also, you should probably call Liro. He's over there playing with his pickaxe-sword. I honestly think it's easier to just chuck rocks at my head, but swords are cool, too."

Skri'ik widened his eyes at Fauna's fast disappearance. "Well, he was gone as fast as he came... make sure to keep Endal safe. I want to learn of this portal." He really hoped he would be able to learn of the intent of the portal before long.
After waving the girl goodbye, He walked over to Liro. "Looks like we're going to find the Guardian of Purification. It's just us three..." he smiled. "The original trio. Fauna and the girl are staying here to watch over Endal. Airis made his disappearance a while ago. Meanwhile, we are going to find Purification and the other guardians for Endal and the girl. Cyra's the only one who knows where they are, so we have to drag her along with us."
"Are you ready, my friend Liro?" He did not ask Cyra if she was ready. They would leave when he and Liro were ready; Cyra's opinion was null and void at this point.

With Liro ready, the party of three set off to find Purification. The first task would be to leave the cave. Skri'ik was still wearing the goggles - so he could see the way forward, even if not entirely clearly. This time, he did not particularly help Cyra, but he still helped enough so Cyra wouldn't stumble and fall every other second. Their progress was slowed down slightly anyway, however.
They reached the end of the cave, looking up to a sky filled with clouds. He felt strangely at peace with so many in the sky. "So this is what it feels like to be at your home element, huh?" He smiled slightly.

Skri'ik remembered that he sent a cloud after the group looking for Purification. Maybe he could look and see who was there, and what to expect? He focused intently on the cloud. Eventually, an image began to form in his head. ((He hoped no-one there saw the massive, googly eyes on the cloud as he was seeing through it. Jolteon42 Claire1018))
He saw several figures standing next to a massive crater. Some familiar faces, of course. The water one. The nether one. The flight one. Airis. And some unfamiliar faces. Perhaps one of them was Purification? They seemed not to be doing much, except the one working on Remilia and Airis talking to another unfamiliar face. Looks like he wouldn't be walking into anything too significant.

After returning to his current vision, he gasped and stumbled slightly. That had used a lot of his energy. Skri'ik noted to not do that often. Before either Cyra or Liro could react, he rasped "I'm fine. Let's go."

Cyra smiled to herself. It wasn't a sarcastic or malicious smile, but a genuine smile. On another journey with her companions, this time to her old companions. How will they greet her? How will they respond when she announces that she killed the Guardian of Fear? How will Pyro and Ross respond, if Cyra, Skri'ik, and Liro actually find them? According to Fauna, they were friends. What is it like, to have a friendship destroyed by death? She would know; didn't the old Cyra die? The Cyra that cared about her companions? Creatures are interesting beings. They're confusing and complicated. Sometimes that's great, but sometimes that's just plain stupid.

For example, Cyra herself is stupid. A stupid, selfish, and cruel creature. She did not understand why Skri'ik, Liro, and Fauna decided to keep her alive. Surely it is better for all creatures to kill such an atrocious Guardian. She just murdered another Guardian! Instead, they kept her as a pathetic dog. A dog that can turn against them after the chains loosen. A dog that can harm both itself and its companions. A dog that can kill creatures that it love. She could have killed her friends, her companions. Why didn't they just let her die? Tears rolled down her face. She wiped them away, leaving more traces of blood over her face.

She didn't care. Let her all creatures understand how dangerous she is. She didn't even know herself. She is the Guardian of Corruption. All is corrupted. This whole world is corrupted. Every world is corrupted. Nothing is pure. Every creature understands that, but they ignorantly believes that things can be pure. Everyone wants the Guardian of Purification. Corrupted things are never good... in the minds of others. Maybe... just maybe... she can change that? This time, her smile was malicious.

Ross dove down to about the center of the lake and extracted the orb from a fol in his robes, which oddly never seemed to get wet. As he touched the orb he could feel immense power flowing through it. He hadn't felt any power from it before, why should he now? As soon as he got sight of the orb he liquified and the orb seemed to just float inside of him. Normally when he'd turn into water, he didn't pay any attention to where his gear went because it always seemed to just disappear, but having the orb inside of him felt extremely foreign, but also completely natural. He knew it had to figure out what this thing did one way or another, so he moved to see it the orb would follow him. At first he noticed no change, he didn't even feel himself move until he was about to collide with the sheer wall of rock of the abyss ((The same one that Light fell into...Twice?)). Surprised, he couldn't stop and instead braced for impact. But the impact never came, or rather, he never felt it. Instead of hitting the wall and splashing all over the place the orb absorbing the impact and bounced back.

He heard a muffled rabble of laughter flow from the orb. "Don't worry, boy, happened to all of us!" Was he being watched through the orb?

Baffled, Ross tried to respond, "Wh- What?"

The laughter seemed to be dying down, and who he knew Poseidon to be had mentioned "We." Ross knew he was being watched not only by Poseidon, but by other past Guardians, too. Does that mean they all had the orb? "We all did that when we first got the orb, it just means you're doing it right!" Just from his tone, Ross could tell the Poseidon was happy with him, and he intended to keep it that way.

Satisfied with his discoveries, he swam back to his friends, being careful not to slam into any sheer rock walls this time.

((Erm. No. The sink is where excess energy goes after a thaumic action is performed ._. often creating a backlash. But considering there isn't a directly apparent backlash it likely get's stored in the guardian's mind where it slowly drains overtime but if it gets too much it'll result in a Magic Taint. It's not that easy to explain ._. Also no i am not creating canon but it looks a lot like thaumatology cx))

*Airis tries very hard to hide how much it worries him everything Light just told him. He then places his hand on his shoulder*

"Hey Light, it's okay. We'll figure something out. But first I need to know, do you know the reason why she doesn't remembers who you are? Or were you the one who made her forget about you?"

"Hmm. Light, are you sure about this? I mean, you seem like a good guy for her. I'm not going to lie, it kind of scares me a little bit, she's my sister after all. But maybe there's something we can do about it. Right now I want to know why she doesn't remembers who you are. Maybe talking to her might help. Do you want to try? I'll be here watching just in case."
