((You were saying? I think this makes it quite clear that you become a spirit once you die (Unless you are a spirit idk how that works)))
((If you're already a spirit I think you'd probably die permanently))
(( This is semi-true. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but Takot was already a spirit. Let me pull a reference up once again.

A spirit is the soul of the deceased after they had died. Spirits will usually take the form of what they used to look like, sometimes modified like looking younger or older, solidified with magic residue. They have the basic workings of a normal human- lungs, heart, brain- all working, however, if they were to drown, or some other form of death, while already dead, would be left in an unresponsive state and would take measures to wake. It is possible to completely destroy a spirit, but we're not going there.
Lets say that spirits have temporal bodies, which, if destroyed leave the guardian a wandering sort of ghost, invisible, unable to interact with the other guardians. Faliara said "They have the basic workings of a normal human- lungs, heart, brain- all working, however, if they were to drown, or some other form of death, while already dead, would be left in an unresponsive state and would take measures to wake." Now this is entirely my opinion, but lets say that after a good bit of time, Takot got/made a new body or something, and returned his spirit to this body.

It's pretty clear that spirits are not infallible however, they can be destroyed. Its not stated how, but it must be pretty tricky. Not really sure if all my theories help at all, I'm certain that its not canon, and I'd love to hear Faliara's opinion on this. Anyway, not sure if this could help clear up speculation, on spirits, hope it might. ))

((That... Was actually pretty accurate, honestly. I don't really see much to add, other than this one factor. When a spirit is destroyed, well- it doesn't mean that their soul is, because I can't really see the soul being destroyed along with it. But Death wouldn't have to go and collect it, because the soul would float to the Nether or Aether, like a magnetic force was pulling them along.

Breaking that magnetic force is an extremely hard task and could only be accomplished by someone who has to work with souls, like Zwn, Death and Remilia- and to a lesser extent, Takot, Cyra, Kysa and Hope. In a way, they work with souls too, corrupting them or instilling hope into them. But they influence souls, not direct them, and while they can try they'd have to get someone who can to teach them and even then, they have a significantly less chance of doing this. Plus, it also depends on the soul itself as well. I'll get back to that later.

In the afterlife, well... It's kind of strange, how it works. Yes, it's part of the Aether and Nether Guardians' job to make sure that souls don't actually leave to haunt for kicks or something, but let's not forget that the soul is not an object. It is basically what we are, what our bodies are holding. So, yes, souls can escape. You can take this and use it as a future plot point or something. The next step, they would have to find some sort of form of magic- and considering how that's a part of this planet's makings, that won't actually be that hard, so that could either mean a new Guardian or a new enemy to try and take over the planet.

How the afterlife itself works though- Is reincarnation allowed? What happens to Guardians who end up there? Is it possible to go from Nether to Aether and Arther to Nether whenever you please? Does the Aether have hot springs or is it exactly like its Minecraft counterpart?- well, it's as if every single world is exactly the same. This is really what's supposed to be figured out in the roleplay. I think that's it, remember, feel free to ask questions!))

((Edit: Also- I ask that we don't make it so that every world's mechanics are the same. Maybe some worlds allow reincarnation, maybe some don't, some worlds have different forms og magic, that sort of thing.))

Guardian of Light
The guardian slowly, but surely catches up with the other three guardians in the air. Meanwhile his right eye has started glowing. His left 'eye' has multiple small red branches across his eye stretching from the red 'pupil'. He looks up and sees the three flying guardians. "Got you now..." he says to himself. He holds his hand up and releases a bright beam in their direction. So bright it can temporarily blind or cause one a stabbing headache.

*Airis is still flying when one of the sudden a bright beam appears*

"Gosh! What's this?!"

*Airis was basically blinded by it*

"Frost! Alouette! Close your eyes, NOW! Listen to me, I can't see anything but here's what I'll do. Instead flying forward I'll go higher and higher. Hoping to get past the Darkness so Frost can be able to fly again and hopefully help us"

*Airis just keeps thinking about Alouette. About the promise he made her to protect her*

"Not letting any weak light stop me"

*Even though Airis is temporarily blind, he keeps flying higher and higher extremely fast*

A beam of intense brightness erupts from below, blinding Catcocomics and the guardians he is with.
"What's this? Is Light trying to blind us? Must be if he's shining it ultra bright. Hmm, perhaps I can use this to our advantage..."
Catcocomics draws his sword hilt and holds it in the direction the beam is coming from.
"This won't do anything to keep the light out of our eyes, but I can at least illuminate a lot more of the area with this."
All though the sword hilt is capable of reflecting the beam, it is not flat enough to keep the beam as one mass of light, scattering smaller rays of bright light in multiple directions.

((Sorry ansoro2112 and CaffeinatedKitty, but Catcocomics needs to be brought beyond the barrier of darkness surrounding the planet.))

((This is going to be the part where anyone who isn't at the crater pretty much follows the light spray, isn't it))

There's rays of light coming down again... How is that? Is someone reflecting it? The guardian grunts in annoyance as he runs faster, now he's ahead of them and shines the light straight into airis' face. "Come the fuck down already..." he says, gritting his teeth

Liro lays still on the ground. Just looking up to the sky. All he sees is black. He coughs up some blood again and sits up. He looks down at his leg, painted red by blood. Liro winces in pain. What was up with that guy, was he corrupted or something. I have to get up now. Liro thought to himself. He uses his arms for support to slowly get up however when he puts weight on his left leg he collapses. "Ugh..." He brings up the ground under him, making a slab he can sit on. He took off his jacket, leaving him with only his blood-stained shirt on. He then tore off the left sleeve and wrapped it around the wound on his leg hoping it would stop the blood flow. He throws a pebble in the distance murmuring a curse.

Liro rolls his his jacket up in a ball and puts it down behind him. He then lays back on it, using it as a pillow. He closes his eyes. "So... tired..." He says then falls asleep.

Skri'ik awakens and instantly feels pain from wounds across his body. How did he get these? Then he remembered everything. He sees Liro near him, fast asleep. "Hmm... we got beat up pretty hard. This world isn't full of nice, co-operative people at all." Skri'ik decided that once his wounds healed, he wouldn't be as co-operative; trusting people had not got him far. Instead, he would have to go back to his past.
Speaking of past, fragmented memories had began to come back. Something to do with strategic deployment... interrogation... knowledge extraction and a thirst for said knowledge... he had not been able to piece together these memories, but out of what he remembered, he could figure that he did not get knowledge in the cleanest of ways. If morally right methods would not cut it, then he would have to resort to underhanded methods, even if he did not like it.
He moved over to Liro and shook him. "Liro? Are you okay? How long have you been asleep?" Skri'ik tried to show false concern. He wanted to check out the crater as soon as he could.

Takot approches Cyra. "Hello Cyra, its been a while, hasn't it?"
"I think it was the cave, right?"

She displayed no obvious emotion on her face, even though she was feeling uncomfortable and unsettled. "Not really. Just few hours maybe."

Takot laughed. "Thats right! I lost track of time while I was wandering away from my old body."

"Yeah, the dead one." Chills ran up her spine.

"Yeah, the dead one." Takot smiled. "I was so nieve then."
"You know," Takot continued. "I really think I ought to thank you."

That smile was a bit unnerving. "Is that a thing now? Thanking people for murders?"

"Yeah. You see, when you killed me, you set my spirit free."

"Does that mean I should go kill more people?"

"I don't know quite what happened, but when I returned my spirit to my new body, my whole attitude changed."
Takot said, ignoring Cyra's comments.
"See, I'm not the same blushing kid I was last time."

"Well I didn't really get to know you, so I didn't know if you were a blushing kid."

"I'm glad I'm not anymore."

"Congratulations?"

"Thank you." Takot smiled again.

She resisted the urge to leave this man and his creepy smiles. It was unsettling, but she would not back down. "So, are you here to join the fun, or are you here for revenge?"

"Both. The balance of this world is being shaken by your petty fighting."
"This 'Darkness' is upsetting the balance."

"Here for both the fighting and revenge eh? Did you choose a side? Or are you going to stay neutral? Well, other than the revenge part."

"Currently I'm going have to be biased toward Ross and his compatriots. I hope you and your pals wont mind to much."
"Yes, the balance must be restored."

She spread her arms. "No worries. Have fun." She smiled. "Also, when you're done with this revenge part, maybe you can meet your opposite aspect. Hope is a nice guy."

"Yeah. About that revenge bit. But first I have a question for you."

"Go ahead."

"What are you afraid of Cyra? What is your deepest, darkest fear?" Takot broke into a grin.

"I don't know. But as the Guardian of Fear you can help me with that, no?"

"Oh, without a doubt." Takot smiled again.

"Doubt is a great weapon for both Fear and Corruption. It's great that you don't have doubt," Cyra said before darkness blotted her vision again. This time it was not from the Guardian of Darkness or the loss of blood. She was standing in a void. However, she was still alive. What's with these people? Why can't they just kill her and be done with it?

Instead she stayed alive, alone in the void. No one else was around. Nothing happened. It was just her and the void.

Empty.

Completely empty and alone.
There has to be something here! Something she can move or touch or corrupt! Instead, everything's empty, neither corrupted or purified. She's the Guardian of Corruption! Corruption can bend the truth! Instead, her power's gone, too.

Empty.

She was barely aware as she grabbed her head and screamed. She wanted to claw her eyes out. Where did her powers go? Why is everything so empty? The familiar feeling of fear crept into her head. What do I fear?

Liro picked up the rock, it was purple and shiny. He put it in his pocket and continued mining on. He dug through rock after rock, looking for something special. Liro sighed, he sat down in his tunnel and closed his eyes. I think it might be time to go back, I've been mining quite a bit. He thought to himself. He stood up and started walking back. He arrived at a forge. He threw the iron he gathered into it and walked over to his workplace. He took the purple rock out of his pocket, it was sharp and hard. Hmm... what is this? Liro thought. He put the mysterious rock on the table and walked towards his living quarter when he saw the Guardian of Fire walking down into his home.

"Hey there." Liro greeted him. "Oh, hi." He replied. "The fire's still going strong if that's what you're here for, I just put some coal in." "Good! But I'm not here for that." He said while sighing. "What's up then?" Liro said with a puzzled look on his face. "We need more weapons and armor. Our troops are under-supplied." "But I sent some yesterday." Liro replied. "One of our warehouses got raided. Look, can you just give the supplies. "Yeah, sure. It'll take a bit though. Do you need me to join on the front lines?" Liro smirked. He really wanted to fight a bit, he was tired of just sitting here making stuff. "Nah, we sh-" The Guardian of Fire was interrupted by the Guardian of Clouds. "Sorry for interrupting your conversation, but I have important news. The enemy has launched an attack on our capital."

Liro's eyes widened. "This early? I thought we had estimated it would take them atleast 3 days to get ready." "Yeah, but with the recent raiding of one of our warehouses and the continuous victories by the enemy, they pushed forward and are now ready. Our troops morale are low, I think we should surrender." The Guardian of Clouds replied. "Why don't we go out there ourselves?" Liro said. "It's too dangerous, they're under the command of-"

"Liro? Are you okay? How long have you been asleep." Liro raised his arm in a defensive position. "Oh, it's just you." Liro sighed out of relief. "I don't know, not that long. What's wrong?" He thought about what he just dreamt about. A war, something that was unknown to this world... for now...

*Even though Airis is temporary blind he decides to stay calm*

"Alouette, just make sure I'm still flying to the top. With all this darkness and temporary blindess it's easy to get disoriented. So I ask you to be my eyes for right now. We need to get beyond the barrier of darkness to help Frost and ourselves."

The guardian looks up. This isn't helping.

Then it hits him.

The guardian holds his palm in the direction the guardians are flying. A small, glass light orb, the same he had given to Alouette forms in his hand. A second later it is flung towards the three flying guardians at terrific speeds.

The first one missed.

The second one just missed the frost phoenix' head.

The third one hit the winged girl in the leg.

The fourth one hit the frost phoenix' sword. And shattered in thousands of glass pieces and blood.

The fifth one just missed the flying male guardian.

The sixth one hit him straight in his wing.

Having lost a lot of blood from creating six light orbs. He pants as he looks up.

He grimaced at Liro. "We've been on a bit of a losing streak recently... since we've been out for a while, I believe we may be too late to the crater. We should still certainly investigate the crater, to see the aftermath of this crisis. The question is, are you well enough to walk and, in extreme circumstances, fight?"

"...Alright." Shifting position so she can see up and over his shoulder, Alouette avoids looking at the light. "There's still some debris up here... Not much though, I'll tell you if we get close to any."
All of a sudden, the bright light disappear, and something whisks past them.
"What was that?!" Moments later, there's another that misses them, and she sees that they
glow. Her eyes widen with realisation. "Airis, he's--"
She's cut off as the next one hits her leg, at least hard enough to bruise. She winces, hearing another shatter out of her line of sight. A fifth orb only just misses, and she starts to warn Airis--"Watch out..!"-- but she's too late.

...
((that took me forever gg))
