IC Guardians of the Elements

((Okay, I haven't paid any attention to the thread whatsoever besides checking up on the alerts to keep them coming, so if I make any mistakes, point them out.))

Endal had fallen asleep after his brief moment of consciousness and when he woke up from his nap, he found a bird looking down on him from the top of someone's head. Endal recognized the someone as the hooded girl from way back.

"Are you the Guardian of Magic?" she asked.

"...yes. You're Cyra, right?" Endal replied, and looked around. Light was still lying on the ground next to him and the others seemed to be a bit away, enough so that they'd hear a shout, but not normal speech.

Had Light been lying right next to him all along? Endal remembered crashing a chunk of stone in his side, sending him flying to Endal's left, and the wizard was quite certain that he'd landed much farther away from him. Bringing his brows together in a frown, Endal sat up and looked at Cyra.

"To go... farther or faster?" She holds her hand out, pulls from the ground, letting her desires shape what emerges. It's a slingshot, made roughly out of vines. With another wave it vanishes into the ground. "Not.. quite what I had imagined. We can walk the rest of the way."

Before she turns to Cairne, he puts his hand under her chin, making sure the bone sticking out doesn't touch her skin. He nods, hesitant to hug her, but ultimately decides not to. "Stay aafe, and... Good luck..." he says, before turning away and walking to the other trio.

"You're finally awake? Jesus." he looks at the unconscious Light "Time to get this fucker fixed."

Endal was startled by a sudden movement behind him and turned around to see Light. He didn't seem to be crazy any more, though. And then he remembered something. Endal turned his head to witness the other Light still lying, face down in the dirt. For a few moments his brain was working his best to understand the situation, but then gave up, since the Light that was up and running didn't seem to have any ill intention.

The wizard simply nodded at the suggestion of getting crazy-Light fixed, and then stopped in thought.

"Wait, who exactly are you and how do you intend to fix him?"

"Who do I look li- AUGHH." he screams, as blood starts dripping out along the bone sticking out of his hand. "S-Shit..." he grunts, trying to get a hold of himself. "Ugh... H-He's me... technically. To explain shortly, he's someone else with my spirit, memories and element put into him. I did it in an effort to get rid of a magic ta- FUUCK." grunting in excruciating pain, he bends over, tears welling up in his eyes.

((no, the wolf head is completely of your design. Go ahead and make it as you like, just don't try and associate it with my character more than it currently is...
Now, when I said "can enter and exist at will"... it was kind of comparative to everyone else for the sole reason that Catcocomics died 157 years ago and will be taken back into the scythe if it touches him or is otherwise used on him.))

Tora looked at the two arriving, the girl had flowers and grass growing around her so Tora assumed she was Flora. She watched as her animals flew, walked and hopped over to the grass and began eating it, the poor things must be starving. She looked back at Alouette, "Don't ask me how to get in, I've barely been around long enough to meet everyone.." She smiled and sat down to play with Tadadshi, "Im just your translater." Tora said as Tadashi ran loops around the group happily.

Topaz blinked a few times, pulled from her thoughts once more. "Hmm? Oh, hello there." she stated, still slightly in her thoughts, pondering about this- apparently dangerous- 'Scythe World.' as it had been named, 'Is it really that dangerous? Surely it can't be... though it is within a scythe... hmm...' Topaz, once more, became lost in her thoughts, slightly jumping when she felt the small tigers tail brush against her as he ran past.

Caithe stands at Ross's side, gazes at the guardians around her. Each one is... involved, with something, one way or another, speaking, mostly. She can feel all of them, the ones who are supposed to be the creators of the world, both the sheer power of their presence, and, as she spreads roots out through the ground, the barest touch of their physical selves. She turns her gaze to the barren, empty world, devoid of anything but craters, lakes, and her plants. The... things, animals that the Guardian of Fauna created began to devour the grass, her grass, but that action had meaning, so she simply replenished the life as they consumed it. The roots moved, closer to the ground, and she could feel the slight tremors from their movement, their speaking. And Caithe felt another new emotion. This one had nothing to do with happiness, and it left her feeling bitter and empty inside, like a plant that had gone too long without water. Disappointment. The Guardian of Fauna mumbled something, but it wasn't directed at her, and she didn't care much anyways.

With a small expenditure of will, the roots she had sent out feeling erupted out of the ground, grasped each guardian firmly. It wasn't an action meant to incur aggression- she released each root immediately. She just wanted their attention. A deep breath, another glance at the empty world. "Excuse me," she says, a note of anxiety in her voice.

"But what the HELL are all of you doing?" She waves her hand, angrily at the empty world behind her. "I've... just woken up, so maybe I don't know as much about the world as the rest of you. But I do know that we were put here for a reason- TO MAKE THIS A WORLD. And it looks to me like all of you have done absolutely NOTHING to make that happen. So I think its time someone did.

Cairne respected the new kid's moxie, and responded in turn.

Heyo! I just told them that, but shithead over here *points at Airis* started whining about how they had "more important things to do" like "save his sister" from some "homicidal boyfriend", and that I should get the shit beaten out of me for suggesting otherwise.

It's fucking ridiculous.

Cairne continues his tirade.

They want to go inside some stupid scythe to go find sparklers for a dog instead of getting their shit straight and actually doing their jobs.

It's a dump.

As this newcomer joins them, accompanied by Ross, she starts to greet her, but is quickly cut off. When the girl--Flora, if the plants are anything to judge by--finishes her tirade, Alouette starts to answer, but again, is cut off.
This time, though, she listens with a growing rage in the pit of her stomach.
She takes a deep breath, making a tiny attempt to calm herself before she turns on him.
"What is wrong with you?"
Her voice cuts through the air, sharp and cold as a knife.
"You obviously know absolutely nothing about what has happened here. She's only just arrived, so at least she has an excuse, but as I recall Airis has already tried to explain to you why nothing's happened--but since you seem to be about as deaf as the ground beneath our feet, let me spell it out for you."
She takes another breath.
"We have been trying to get things done, but that's kind of hard to do when there's at least four separate guardians trying to kill us."
She storms past him before turning once more. "And since you obviously hold no regard for my life, you can kiss any thoughts you had of flying with my help goodbye."
Turning her back on them all, she walks for a distance before it turns into a run, then to flight.
'Running away from my problems... As always.'
She shakes her head.
'At least I'll only have to worry about myself.'

Endal thought about that for a bit. "Yes, I suppose it is possible to do it without the Guardian of Purity. We'd just have to find the Guardian of Corruption and get them to help me instead. We could probably suck the taint out of those influenced by it if we could work together, considering that it is, in essence, magic corruption. The thing is, I have no idea where the Guardian of Corruption is or if they're sane. I have a feeling that they might be somewhat corrupt as well (the irony), since we have all these corrupt Guardians running amok in this world, sso I'm not too sure about whether or not this option could work."
