Another mid champion I have played a lot is Heimerdinger... Really don't see him so often played by other players.
One thing he is very good at is when you have bruiser opponent against you, like Ahri or Kassadin, Heimerdinger can just push the lane so your opponent is forced to stay on the lane. Heimerdinger = Passive gamestyle.

Zyra not OP from what I can tell last night. She's no burst champion, her abilities aren't incredibly damaging, and it's difficult to get down the plant system, especially on the first or second try.

Today, I learned that my school that's teaching me how to create FPS games also has a class about League, and the guy teaching it has 1.9K elo. He watches me play League every morning before class, pointing things out every five minutes. FUN STUFF.

I see Nocturne every game (because he is free this week ). It's a shame most people build him beserker greaves, infinity edge and bloodthirster. He has so much potential as tanky bruiser. Yesterday I had more than 3500 hp and 400 damage with him.
