Sure but the playerbase being afk is the predominant issue with all end of day no lynches.
It's not unfair to scum to not let them take advantage of that because in an ideal world that wouldn't be the case.
It's nobody's fault stuff at the end of day 0 happened right at the end, but due to many people not engaging with the thread until then it did. Deadlines are there ot keep the game fun and interesting for the players involved, not to punish people for other players lack of interest in the game... and that goes double for putting in no-lynch deadlines after every day.
But anyway this isn't really the time or place, if it is revealed it has affected the game I'll bring my criticisms up to stranger in private
a host can only do so much to actually retain the playerbase, and considering mafia is a subset of a larger community with some activity issues most of it is out of their control
yes it is everybodys fault the end of day 0 stuff happened, deadlines are there to promote activity. Taking away a deadline means people don't have upticks of activity at all if they know it's liable to be moved around
no-lynch deadlines is another topic entirely and i don't feel strongly one way or another
also wait what else can you possibly bring up to stranger you've literally complained five million times already do you have anything else you want to get off your chest
