hey lets all play a game! I call it mafia.
Hey, I at least spoke a lot yesterday!
Its a bit slow since people seem busy. :c
At least Dess has a post in the works. <3
Well rip me, I guess I'll come clean because I've lost the game now and there's no point lying anymore.
I lied about being the Agent - I'm not even townsided. I'm third party: the Corrupt Official. Basically I'm a roleblocker who's win condition is that Oak won the game, and Oak now has no chance of winning so I've lost.
I know you guys might want to lynch me but I'm basically useless now, and if I'm kept alive I'll help scumhunt because that's fun.
Also to further explain why Oak has no chance of winning now, he told me in our PM chat that every night he chose one person. The first night was a person he bet would survive until the end of the game, and then the second night was a person he bet would die before the end, and it'd keep going like that. For each correct answer he got a point and for each incorrect answer he got minus a point, and for each night he was dead he got minus a point too. So my only hope of getting Oak, and therefore me, to win, was to try to get the game to end tomorrow night with the person he chose alive. So I decided the only hope I had was to just go all out and try to lynch the person I found the most suspicious in the hopes that I was right and we'd be down to one or two terrorists left, increasing the chance for the game ending that night if the vig/SK got lucky or something. But obviously it didn't work and the game's still going so yeah I've lost
Well, since you can't win anymore but want to help the town, maybe some things can be expanded on?
Like what are these "points," since it seems like a weird aspect of the role not fully explained by his death-reveal explanation alone (Oak = Bets on which players will be alive at the end). Like, does he need to reach a certain amount of points to win? Or just have the game finish with at least 1 point?
As well, since you're a roleblocker, did you use it last night (since you didn't use it the first night), and who did you target?
Information is power, and any tiny bit will help the town piece together what happened with the events during the night and potentially lead to lynching the right person today.
I do think Jk and possibly tim are terrorists. I also don't trust that Security Guard story AT ALL. 3 people who all know they're innocent and investigative power roles in a small game like this, as well as a vigilante in the chat to know who to target at night? Maybe I'm just being closed minded and sticking too closely to my gut but I have a feeling Jk or the mafia made that post and made it all up - from my personal viewpoint I'm like "how convenient that through that one post, both tim and jk, the two people I've thought to be evil, are in the clear, and both people who I, the claimed investigative role, pointed fingers at!" Personally I don't believe a word of it. Or maybe it is real but the people in it aren't 100% town either. Or you know maybe it is real and I'm just being dumb. One thing to note is that the post said "A security bulletin is found posted to the wall." so I guess whoever made it is some kind of security related role, whether that be town or not.
I can't convince you that I'm not anti-town, but I'll say again that I'm very much a townie and that your hunch/gut is wrong in this instance.
Let's take a step back and look at how I could potentially be against the town.
At worst, I could be third-party. I don't have much of a possibility of being Mafia. Why you ask? The answer is simple.
For starters, I have presented 3 very clear investigations, with 1 being confirmed by you, 1 partially confirmed (though not entirely) in regards to Tim, since he can't quite prove himself unless he dies or claims, and a final investigation that should hopefully be made clear if it did happen by Dessern at a later date (when he has time to write up a post).
Also note that these were all investigations that occurred Night 1. What also happened Night 1?-- 2 Mafia died, as far as we can tell anyways;
on that note however I'm guessing there is most likely a role that simply makes sure the town doesn't know the roles of who died in the Mafia, since they have entirely been labeled by their affiliation while every other role has had a minor explanation of their role upon their death.
Anyways, back on topic... There should be at most 4 Mafia members... as 5 would be too large a number for how little players are in this game (15 to be exact). There cannot be 3 either unless there are 2 third-party killing roles which I found doubtful, because we, or at least I know for certain Webpaige's death was caused by the Vigilante. That leaves Vatu and Mars to have been killed elsewhere; 1 by the Mafia, and 1 by a third-party killer in the most likely circumstance.
Now that we have a good look at a very likely number of Mafia to hypothesize with, let's look back at yesterday when 2 of the Mafia died.
That leaves 2 other Mafia members living. I could not have received the 3 investigations if I was apart of the Mafia (and I guess, the final member now that Webpaige is dead if my guesses are right) as my "allies" are dead; It would've been left to both myself and my partner to have used our night abilities if we had any.
With this in mind I don't see me really being Mafia. Even less likely third-party because it would be hard to see a lone role having so much investigative power
and being third-party.
The only caveat I can see is if the "Timdood is innocent" investigation was simply pulled out of thin air, because it's a very easy claim to make.
Plus,
anyone would accept being considered "innocent" because they either are, or are anti-town trying to pretend they are innocent.
However, as a cop (and I know who that is by the way) has not yet come forward to dispute the investigation and existence of themselves, I would consider this investigation somewhat reliable.

Anyways, I think I know what Dess is, and what he'll say tomorrow.
I think Dess is the
Doctor.
This is mostly because almost every game has some form of Doctor (it wouldn't be Mafia without one) and as nothing
seems to have happened to Ooglie when Dess visited him, it seems to be a safe bet.
And thus, I consider him to be fairly trustworthy if my hunch is correct (which could be dispelled once Dess replies)
Now, I think I'm gonna vote for someone because I think there's only 2 threats left to the town:
>1 remaining Mafia member.
>1 third-party (not counting Innfy
if he's telling the truth) who is the serial killer(or some kind of killing role/whatever).
At this time I think it would be wise that if the town tracker's target last night visited someone who died last night that they reveal themselves, as well most likely have one of our 2 remaining threats.
Otherwise it would be best to remain hidden until further notice.
And with that,
Vote Ooglie101 because why not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
