Mega Absol is the best thing that could ever have happened to me. I got sold on mega pokemon as soon as I saw how awesome Absol looks. (Increased attack AND SPEED!?!?!, NOT TO MENTION MAGIC BOUNCE!?!?)
I don't like the idea of some mega pokemon being event only. Blaziken is a pokemon many people love, imagine the disappointment if you miss the event for it. :O

Ah, hmmkay i usually play in a competitive sense, since i used to be an actual competitive player. My typical soul silver team though is; typhlosion, jumpluff, quagsire, lanturn, umbreon, xatu. Love it for ingame and for an actual competitive team, its not bad. (obviously different movesets for ingame and competitive battles though)
I love absol, to death! This mega absol makes me love it even more! But i kinda see the good of it, mega pokemon will probably be OP...... even with only 1 aloud per team, per battle. You gotta have some limitations of OPness.
Whoa whoa whoa... JUMPLUFF???? Never saw it as good :D I love Quagsire because it was my plucky HM slave.. I planned on using Xatu but never ended up doing that and plus it's Psych/Flying so it's sorta bad for the perspective of fighting guys like Chuck when you need a Psychic Type that is able to do the job (and I never liked Drowzee/Hypno anyways...)

lol you have no idea. Jumpluff's max speed rivals that of Gengars (which is pretty high) I mainly use him as an annoyer. Sleep the opponent, leech seed em, substitute, and giga drain. Keeps my health up, defenses up, and their life dying.
I use quagsire as a massive wall. I have used him to murder competitive; metagross, gyarados, scizor, and weak dragons. His health is immense, and with water absorb (which alot people don't know about) is very nice. His speed sucks, but his defenses are great and with his only weakness being grass he's really good!
Quagsire is also very useful in double battles, when teamed up with someone like mantine, ludicolo, or lanturn.
I use xatu as a quick opener, has a massive variety of movesets, from psychic, flying, ghost grass, ice, fire etc..... and great sp atk, give him choice scarf for a speed boost and your opponents will have no clue whats going on.

Hopefully we get a Mega Scizor THAT CAN ACTUALLY FLY. If that happened, my dreams will have come true. And if they make a Mega Milotic, that would probably be way too damn beautiful, not gonna lie.
