One thing that bothers me, Ender, is you see all payers the same, when their personality and playstyle vary what is and isn't out if the ordinary. Oak, for example, might have pulled a brash gamble, but by looking at the possible outcome you can see that it was thoroughly thought through. Also, you're treating Iggy like you expect him to perform amazing loopidoops like Notty, despite his beginnerness, his basic grasp of how to play, and his simple mannerisms. I would not expect Iggy to research that deep into the flavour texts, and thus I have no qualms believing his confusion was genuine. Also, quit the Swate metaphors. Swate played Plane Troubles, and already had a grasp on how to play, in fact he may have been mafia in PT also. Retaking Rochester I could almost allow, what with the game being a monumental clusterfuck, but PT had a smooth learning curve, rather than dunking beginners in the deep end. If you look at RR, most of the new players conducted themselves in a similar way. In fact, the game was almost entirely dictated by Lee_Scar. Another thing that appeals to mafia plebeians is the illusion of immediate safety disguising a later danger, such as a swift no-lynched in favour of facing instant consequences exe thigh it may be

I agree with the point you make, though it sounds like you put every complicated word from the english language in there xD

I think we all ought to give some people a slight leeway this game, a lot of newer players. Sure in the end we need to make informed (or as well informed as we can possibly make) decisions to succeed, even if that does mean coming down hard on a (possibly new) mafia.

Anyway I don't really have much to add at this point in time.

What is your stance on lynching/No Lynching. Like why lynch/No Lynch and why not the other?

I can see both sides of the argument.

Lynching:
Less suspects tomorrow, higher chance to lose a town and kill a mafia

No lynching:
Lose less people, not as much information to go off.

I generally don't do anything D0, so I'm not too sure what I'll do this time.

ok so apparently I'm going insane and saw a post by Road which didn't exist ajnifank
either way, it was 1 of 2 quotes. The quote that I can find is~

I wonder if investigator's gain an understanding of roles when they investigate people, could be helpful to have any cops we may have lying around have a concrete target; though I'm not certain even if 05 is third party a multi-person serial killer faction it would be worth cashing our cop in.
The quote I swear I could have seen was saying that no more members of the 05 should out (so it would just be Iggy in the open) but apparently I'm insane and that post never existeddd, nevertheless it was the more popular (and honestly sensible) idea at the time.

Then, the only quote is the one I find the more interesting since if no more members of the 05 outed then it would be one particular person. If the cop had a 'concrete target' (Iggy) to try and figure out the allignment/role of the person it would easily allow a possible Mafia-sided Watcher to see who was visiting Iggy that night. The obvious thing for the possible Doctor to do at this point would be to protect Iggy since they would be the biggest target for the Mafia in my eyes meaning the possible Mafia-Watcher could get a 2 in 1 action to find out suspects of who the Cop and Doctor are. More people could visit and there would be more suspects making it harder to pin point the important duo but that would also allow the Mafia to know who some PRs are.

The idea does seem a bit overthinked but I shall let nothing slide *point*!

I disagree with you here. I don't expect beginners to perform in the way that the more experienced players do. I allowed iggy the first mistakes he made. But it wasn't just one or two posts that were off, it was his entire play. I don't know what kind of a person someone is, if they have a basic grasp of logic or not, if they have a basic grasp of the game or not or if they do their basic research or not, but if a beginner's, and especially a beginner's entire play is off, then something must be wrong in my opinion. With Oak coming in to support Iggy's claim, I feel that his defense has been proven enough for me to be able to put it aside for the moment, but because of the possibility of Oak and Iggy both being mafia, I will also keep them both in mind and sight in case they turn out to be lying.

Also, quit the Swate metaphors. Swate played Plane Troubles, and already had a grasp on how to play, in fact he may have been mafia in PT also. Rephrase it or I won't be able to make any sense of this. I brought out Swate in response to Naoh's post, because Naoh said that it's never the most obvious one and Swate was, in my opinion at least, the most obvious one in PvC and he turned out to be mafia, disproving the theory that it's never the most obvious one. I don't think we should exclude someone from our FoSes just because they're new or just because they're the most obvious one, that's why I said that.

I win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
My point was the 05 group is claiming to be a town sided faction and we simply haven't confirmed that so I wanted us not to lynch iggy so the cop could learn more about a potential 3rd faction. I hadn't even considered the possibility of a mafia watcher, but I don't think the cop, the doc, or any watchers would have used their night roles on iggy simply on my say-so.

You were prevalent in (at the the end of) RR, what happened to that?
Alot of things have been said that I would have said, so other then to quote three to five people and just go 'I concur and I agree' I've been reading and watching giving time for others to read and reply.

Because lets be honest the thread is having a lot of shitposts that have nothing to do with the aim or goal of progressing the thread. Causing the thread to bloat nearly 3 pages daily, which I'm all for a 3 page daily increase.

I've been siting back to let those who cant read and get updated frequently to have a chanceat reading and not just skipping and screwing up the process.

As for where we stand I want to know iggy234 What is your win condition? Just for the sake of being curious.

At this time I really have no 100 percent FoS it was iggy only based to give us information because of the 2/3 remainder, but with that no longer an option we can move onto a new person.

Honestly though I wonder why no one has questioned raxos clear willingness and lack of fight on iggies claim.
We've all taken them with a grain of salt, however raxo said :

I don't think, that Iggy is suspicious >.>
And has also given clear indication that he knows something that we don't. Or maybe doesn't care?

Honestly guys, right now it seems like we are just killing time. I don't want day 0 going on that much longer because people are going to get bored of a big ol nothing happening. We did lose the only lead we had but at that we also gained two people proven as innocents. I'm going to be going back to my original vote then and say we just let the night come and see where that takes us.
