but maybe theres some sort of third party investor role that invests some money in stock and depending on the economic scale they either gain money or lose money (oops have i handed someone a good fake claim)
isn't notty called something 'investor'
As much as I'm against a massclaim right now I do actually think notty is town (minor 3rd vibes).
I don't see a circumstance in which mafia would ever push for a mass claim so early on in the game.
seems weird that as soon as notty votes you suddenly you say you think she's town and can't see why mafia would ever push for a massclaim so early on (since similarly to what UNU said it'd make sense if they all know each other's roles already + think they'd get away with it + get all the PRs out). it feels a bit like 'quick let me town read the person onto me to pacisfy them' since I just find it a bit strange you can't see a circumstance where mafia would push for a mass claim so early on
also if a RID killer does exist do you think their wincon is to be last man standing or simply be alive with the winning faction
the RID role doesn't have to be a killer either, alisha just mentioned RID 'may exist in some form' and told ltin that RID can apply to any kind of action
"RID stands for Role ID. It refers to a class of actions that require you to input the role name of your target correctly in order for the action to succeed. It's commonly used as a form of specialized killing in other games and communities, but can theoretically apply to any kind of action."
they could also be mafia/town instead of 3p
I don't see how it even matters if Mafia has roles that 'blend' in since not only would they have to come up with a result every single day but also they would claim this regardless of massclaim.
If them claiming a blending role is such a problem you'd have that problem in a few days anyways except then they have had plenty of time to make results up that targeted dead people.
since massclaiming reveals all of our PRs to the mafia. if mafia can easily blend in then the value of massclaim is reduced and it's arguably not worth throwing our roles away for anymore, even if it gets them more time to make better claims. once again it's weird how you seem to be so biased for a massclaim
but anyways after poke reminded me about how alisha wants to subvert expectations this game I'm no longer worried about it being similar to TPB in terms of helping mafia blend in since although, like i said earlier, it's possible she helped mafia with massclaiming in TPB since she thinks that makes games more balanced and still believes that and therefore despite wanting to subvert expectations wouldn't go as far as neglecting to make her game as balanced as possible, I feel like it's plausible she'd think she could balance a game well without doing that ^ and would want to, if she even considered the massclaim deal at all
but honestly the main reason I'm now ok with massclaiming is since it just seems really fun and this setup just somehow makes sense to be the one where we massclaim early and make it memorable in that way, imo
I agree that he hasn't contributed much (5 post and all memes), but I have a strong feeling he's town.
care to elaborate?
This statement is very interesting who else thinks that
why is that interesting?
This is also very interesting who agrees
why is this interesting as well?
another idea that i have (but i didnt want to say until massclaim but honestly i feel like we're never gonna get there actually have we had an actual vote yet nvm im changing my idea mid writing)
i call for a final vote on whether you agree with a mass claim or not (with coins and 'steals X times better than you' removed (i think thats for the best?))
aye!
