If I had to go with the most likely possibility, I would say that we are told the roles of who is killed at night but not those of who is lynched. I guess our circumstances are better than I first thought woo!

So if we assume that digi is town, then that would most likely mean that Ooglie was insane, and therefore we made the correct choice in lynching Swate. Which leaves storm from yesterday, which I will judge based off of what he says in response to my post.

Did you see what Swate was saying? I am convinced he was mafia, and I didn't want to go under with him as "his last attempt to be saved." If I didn't claim sooner than later, the town was going to lynch me for sure.
The person who could win with me was already predetermined before the game started. I found out that person was Swate. I was never informed about his affiliation, so he could be either mafia, town, or third party.
You're right, the word Abhorrent is definitely not a pleasant word to describe someone. Unfortunately that's the name was given in this game of Mafia.Samlen said:

Whilst you sound genuine, just be aware that this statement above can / does seem a little like you're using the fact that we don't know Swates alignment to your advantage, you can currently easily hide behind that, for as long as we don't know if Ooglie was insane or not. Just saying - the chance that you're scum after all does exist (but then - it does always for anyone that claims town)
After claiming my Vampire role in the last game, people were so gun-ho for me to die; and although I'd love to be a threat towards Mafia by detailing the abilities of my role I feel that they'll only band together to get me lynched or devise a plan to have me murdered.
Also, I don't really understand what you mean about using Swate's alignment to my advantage.
That means that you could (again I stress could) be taking advantage of the fact the Swate was a) Godfather and showed up innocent b) Truly innocent (which I doubt so) c) Ooglie was a paranoid cop and you are innocent to hide your role alignment.

And the only reason why I'm saying it is, that usually something like paranoid/insane/lucky/etc shows up in the role description upon death of a cop. Since it only showed 'Sherrif' without 'Insane' it lead me to wonder if we had two sane cops.
But, just like you say, it seems unlikely and it's more likely that these things aren't shown to us to 'confuse' us even more.
I personally just don't want to fully trust digi actually being town yet, since sich trust is always dangerous in mafia games...
Honestly, I don't think we should push Digi for any more information on her role. It's pretty clear, to me at least, that Swate was mafia. That'd make Ooglie an insane cop, which thereby clears Digi. In my eyes, I don't think Digi should have to reveal more information than she has to, as it's likely to harm the town.
There are only a few reasons I can think of to withhold information from a claim:
1) It's a fake claim, and the details have not been thought out.
2) Stating the ability would inform the mafia and therefore put a target on their back. Abilities are useless once the player is dead
Let's steer away from why something happened and prying information from clears.
I'd like to hear who Digi thinks is suspicious instead of everyone trying to get the specifics of her role.

99% of the time, modified cops (insane/paranoid/confused/ect) do not know that they are modified. When they receive their role, they are simply told "cop." The same goes for when they die.

I don't know where you played mafia before, but it's the general rule that it is revealed on death if they / any role was/is modified.
But it's a moot point to follow up on, since this is this game and not any other game...

You cannot compare an automated system like EM to forum mafia games / rules / standards. But seeing how our lovely host is most used to EM, I can see the reason why nothing might have shown.
But let's drop the point since the discussion won't help us with the case at hand. Tim is correct in not pressuring for more details but getting digis own viewpoint, and we still have the whole matter of storm and also the fact that roles show again (which could have a sinister background as well). Aarggggg this game is driving me crazy ^^

From the events of yesterday, I'm pretty much 99.99% percent sure that Ooglie was insane and swate was the mafia out of him and Digi tbh. After the night ability slip from swate, I feel like Digi is the person I trust the most.
