[[OOC: Sorry but, do we have to notice the helicopter? (As like a character, and we can choose and such)
I mean: Seeing that when me, Vati, and Duffie were all in the same or around the same building, there is a bit of an event going on, and since its a bit of a commotion going on, people probably can miss the Helicopter, especially since Vati fired off his gun, so perhaps my character was distracted by the gunshot that I did not even notice the helicopter?
Plus, you probably won't hear a helicopter come buy unless you directly see it, or its pretty much flying extremely low (which it would probably run into a building).
And: Cities are normally huge, especially most modern ones. You normally don't always see / hear a helicopter everywhere in a city; its all based on location.

But, if we have to see the helicopter, perhaps one character won't notice it, but another character did and if they meet up, the one who did notice the helicopter can tell the other character, and so on, and so on.

...
Sorry, this is just my inner Writer and past Role-player, and I just, can't get behind the Helicopter event.
It kind of forces us to drop the event currently occurring, and forcing us into a different perspective which doesn't really happen.
I also noticed the reason for the helicopter, in one of your previous posts FoxMccloud64 , was in order to get everyone into the city, but--- If it only flew over the city, would people like ShinyShark or Sp3ct3r_2k11 who both appear to be in a snowy village in the mountains; would they see it?
It just breaks apart some of the smaller stories people form when they role-play in my opinion.

...Sorry if this sounds mean or something (I always get the feeling it does honestly)...
But I just wanted to express a concern I had before anymore of the story continues.

Because, just because someone does see something initially, people always seem to randomly converge on each others locations in RP and in Apocalypses, so you can always have 2, 3, or even 4 or more groups of random people in different locations, and some end up at the same place sooner or later. ;)

Edit: This is only based on how I kind of want to play my character, and this does not reflect on anyone else's view but mine own. Thank you.]]

I'm only a damn tourist.
I don't deserve THIS to happen.
I didn't even do anything.
Why? WHY?

Eco walks around his room, the door blocked and bat ready, thinking of a way to get out. The cold air flowing to the room, adding tension to his nerves as well.
Zombies moan outside the room, banging on the doors as their attempt to break in. The scent of flesh has drawn them to the front of his door, more and more.

I need a plan. A stroke of chance. ANYTHING.

And then a helicopter flew by.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

I wake up in the early afternoon, the sun shining in on my face through a crack in the wall. I place my shotgun down beside me and shake my hands out and crack my knuckels in order to releive the stress of gripping it through the night.

I push back against the corner I was propped up in and stand up abruptly.

"Whoa, got up a little to quick there" I say as dizziness overwhelms me

"Well lets see on the menu today"

I reach into my backpack and pull out the last ration of food that I have accumulated. I half heartedly look into the bag hoping that more food my spontaneously appear, then look down and sigh.

"God damn it..."

I start eating the food, and after a while I grip the pendant hanging around my neck

"Well it looks like we have to head inwards to town again for more supplies."

There is a brief pause in my words then my head lowers, and my grip on the pendant tightens.

".... look after me....."

[[OOC: Okay, Okay. Duffie . I just had a brilliant idea when I was reading earlier today.
Remember when you suggested whether we were once friends and/or knew each other, or were simply strangers to each other on the previous page?
Well.... Taking from that idea...
Perhaps we do know each other, however, instead of Friends...
Perhaps, both of out characters were actually sisters, but we were separated at a really young age, though we only vaguely remember small details about each other, like what we like, or what we smelled like, and so on and so on.
But, if we do actually meet, we won't... perhaps... remember who we are until it's too late.... :3
(Like-- Age 5 and 9 maybe, seeing our Character's age difference for the separation)

It's just an idea, but while I'm currently in the moment, It seems really awesome.
But I bet once I'm out of this moment, I may think this idea totally sucks, but again, just an idea.

Oh and Mach9824

"Well time to get going" I think as I sheathe the shotgun, and gear up.

As I sling my pack onto my shoulders, I pear around the house; looks like the family who occupied here before I showed up left in a hurry. The tables are skewed, chairs are flipped.

"Well might as well make the most of this place"

I start to search through the house for anything useful. All food items are gone to my dissapointment but I do manage to find a portable fm radio that still looked functional, but the batteries were dead.

Among some bits and bobs laying around nothing would really be of use. I decide to go through the medical cabinet in the bathroom and to my surprise it looked like it hadn't been touched.

"Heh, score one for the home team." I grin as I add all sorts of pills and mediocre medical supplies to my own first aid kit making it quite commendable based on today's circumstances.

"Thank you former house owners! Now it's time to get the hell outta dodge." I walk to the front door and slowly open it making sure not to make too much noise. I may be on the outskirts of town, but those fucking monsters could be anywhere.

After making sure the coast is safe, I pull the straps on my bag tightening it to my shoulders, put my head down and start jogging.

"Alright, now prioriety one is food, two maybe find some new shelter more in towards the city centre, three, find some more people." I make a mental note as I weave in and out of obstacles in my path making sure not to be seen or heard.

As I corner a semi, I run into a big ugly mother sucker. The creature turns around adknowledging my presence and lets out a burp and splutter and staggered in my direction.

"Jesus christ this guy must have been a bouncer or something. Well no matter...."

I run at the zombie and slide between its legs, pulling out the hidden blade on my leg and slicing the back side of the knee cap making it fall to the ground. I quickly get up and look at the now immobilized zombie.

"Firing a shot my attract too much attention to myself... and I can't just leave this thing here.... Oh for fucks sake."

The zombie lurches forward and start to drag itself towards me. Pondering my situation, I look to my right and see a convenietly placed 2x4 that looks like it is the size that would make handeling easy.

"Well, looks like it comes to this." I grab the hunk of wood and brutally bash the skull in on that abomination.

After it stops moving, I toss the wood aside. Not overly phased by the grotesque sequence that had just unfolded, I turn around and continue on my journey.

"So uncivilized..." I mutter to myself as I stroll on down the road. I light rain begins to fall, as if the Earth is weeping for the actions that have become neccesary for survival.

The banging subsided. Eco prepares his bat, and opens the door to peek out slightly.
They're walking away.
The zombies are actually following the helicopter noise, rather than him. This is it. This is his chance to get out of that room for good. He bursts down the door open, dashing through the half empty hallway.

No more room for error.

He swung his bat, knocking down some of the zombies that are in his way. The helicopter noise was getting more quieter. The time is running out. He found himself on the main living room, only to find that when he looked left, the door out is swarmed by zombies that are trying to follow the helicopter. He looked right, and found a slight ray of light emitting from outside one of its windows, followed by a silhouette of what looks like a handlebar for a railing.

The Balcony! It's better than nothing.

He dashed right, going further away from the main living room door, running as fast as he can to the balcony. The sunlight that emitted from outside the glass door that separated the balcony from the main room was in sight. He crashed through the glass door and jumped off the balcony, leading him to roll down the steep, snow covered hill. He rolled and rolled until he has hit the bottom slope.

The snow was thick, so Eco didn't get hurt from rolling downhill. The only thing that is in his mind now, is to find somewhere safe. The lodge is now overrun by zombies, so he can't go back uphill. The only option left is to follow the mountain path downhill.

A few hours after he walked, the city was in sight. It was a horrible sight. The town is emitting an orange glow.

It's hell down there.
What other options do i have?
Is there even anywhere safe?
...The helicopter.
It headed straight down to the city!

It's my only chance.
THAT is my ticket way out of here!

He opened his backpack and took out his airsoft gun. It was a G36C model, included with an actual military grade ACOG sights. Even if it's an airsoft gun, it was modified to have at least the speed of 700 fps.

Better than nothing i guess...

I awake slowly, taking in the area, head throbbing, no clue on where I am. The last thing I remember is that helicopter going down. I see a city not far and venture over to it. It looks deserted, then I see a few people outside with guns, and I quickly hide.

*Slowly pulls open a creaky door to a house*

Hello, anyone in here?

Then two zombies appear. I quickly get out my throwing knives and throw them at the zobmies, killing them. Then for good measure I take out my ax and chop there heads off. Realizing that I will need to socialize with the other people if I want to live, I quickly organize my stuff.

*Puts pistols in my pants pockets, throwing knifes in my sweatshirt pockets, Swiss army knife in the back pocket, AK-47 slung on my back along with my backpack, and I carry the bloody ax in my hand. Then I go outside and walk to the people I saw earlier

Hello?
