Am caught up. Have taken notes on this game so far, but I had to set up a wireless hotspot and work on the train to do it. I should be entering a tunnel soon, so I'll probably lose my mobile data, and therefore lose the hotspot, but hopefully I can make a quick post once I get to work I know what I want to say, so hopefully I'll have a post in like 20-30 minutes?

Okay, so after re-reading through and taking notes I've felt like Hkcaper has been acting suspicious.

Because of me being away with friends for the past few days, my mind hasn't been with the game, and I want to apologize for that. Sorry. Now, some things have been said that I don't agree with, that I will adress in my next post (yes I am gonna put out a series of post, but no penta post, because penta post = evil). Wanted to quickly say that I do not like how the whole voting Vino thing has blown out of proportions (imo), and is now causing me to slowly go down. Before the hype train catches up to me and runs me over I am going to make some drastic posts, to clear my name and prove you I am innocence. I am not going down without a fight, and will prove that I am devoted to playing this game.

What do you make of this decryption?
To be honest, I have no clue about most of these texts, they seem to me a lot of jibberish that probably has something to do with Inffy's game. I read somewhere idk anything is possible in a closed setup when your host is inf. I guess that is true. The fact that Notty can decypher death messages (assuming it is true, which it does appear to be) is really useful imo. I mean, for example with Ender, now we know the doc is dead, which seems like some prtty useful info to me.

How do you think we can best use this to the benefit of this town?
Maybe later on we can use all messages, but for now the death messages give us good info.

Do you believe Notty's claim? why/why not?
I do think there is truth in Notty's claims, and I believe she must have something to do with the alien language, since she was able to do all kinds of things with it (unless she really has to much time on her hands). What I am refering to is the fact she got all the symbols in a table. Afaik the text was posted as a image, and I could not select the symbols individualy. I think she maybe got a list of all the symbols as part of her role. Altough, she could just have used paint or something to cut out all the symbols out of the images.

Who is your biggest FOS right now? why?
Here is where I go ham. Unusual_dude is my biggest suspect right now. After the whole thing with Vino Ltin was quick to jump on me with questions, and I respect that. Unu on the other hand joined the bandwagon out of nowhere, with once again the biggest reason why, my playstyle. The last time someone voted me for my playstyle they thought they could push me in the corner and get an easy lynch. I wasn't going to let that happen and I will not now. Mess with the goat, get the horns. Yes I haven't been able to talk much the past few days, but if that is the reason you are going after me, call it a policy lynch, don't bring up some bs about my playstyle. What also bothered me is something else you said. At some point I said I would reply to the questions later, since I was away. After that, you still made a post asking me to reply. Like, chill dude. I am also really not sure about the whole drug dealer things. You only claimed the role after the rest of the thread had finish some sort of portrait of the role. And now there is just this weird shit going between you and vino about some hallucinations that are hella confusing. Last thing is the lynch hype train coming after me, which you seem to have initiated. I said when I was coming back, and you initiated the hype just before that, how convenient, because now you have the high ground.


Second biggest FOS? why?
Don't really have a second biggest FOS. Maybe someone who I haven't read much of like TWG or Ooglie, but actually dont really know.

How do you feel about Vino claiming to have been visited by a roleblocker while notty also claims to have been roleblocked by someone giving them a temporary tatoo?
idk anything is possible in a closed setup when your host is inf

Why do you think Notty would give up her role to keep her soul?
If the negative effects outweigh your role, I assume would be a good idea to give up your role and keep your soul.

To show town I am not messing around I am going to do something drastic.

I claim, Town. I am Johnathan May, the Resident Watchman. I may choose a player each night, and receive a report the following morning on who visited that player during the night.

I know this will put me at risk of getting killed of by the mafia, but I feel like I would get lynched today if I did not claim now. Last night I chose to watch Mulbery, but sadly nooone has visited her ;(.

In these posts I've felt like you're over reacting a bit. To me it kind of screams someone who is either inexperienced or nervous because they are mafia afraid of being caught. You only had 3 votes on you. Maybe I'm used to the larger games we used to do in the past where 3 votes wasn't really much in a 30 player game, but I still feel like this is a panicked and perhaps slight overreaction.

As I said earlier, It's possible there are more than one watcher, but I find it unlikely in this given scenario, so I think the safe vote is for Hkcaper

I feel like something really scummy is going on, and it appears as if mafia is backing eachother up (possibly Unu, Vino and Notty), not sure though. Just how convenient is it that the person who claimed Unu was telling the truth is now cc me, and the one with the 'dodgy' *story about roleblocking and whatnot is now confirming said cc. In my eyes there is a grand scheme going on.

It's generally considered bad form to suspect the person who is accusing you since people can make legitimate mistakes. However, I don't think that is applicable here. If Vino is counter claiming you it's legitimate to suspect him if we are to assume that there can only be one watcher. It is always possible we have more than one watcher, there is nothing preventing inf from picking the role twice, but from what I'm seeing there already seem to be a decent number of town power roles. If this creates setup balancing issues or not only inf can determine, but given the uniqueness of the current roles I'm finding it slightly doubtful that there is a second watcher. It seems likely to me that the mafia could have their own watcher, so even if we can confirm the role we cannot confirm alignment (still better than confirming nothing). Back to the point here, I think it would be legitimate for you to accuse Vino in this situation, but why are you attacking unu and Notty o.0? Notty has claimed scribe, and so far seems to be likely town. Unusual has a role that's been described in Notty's texts (unless you suspect the texts are fake, which most people don't seem to be raising a point on) He has claimed this role and has not been counter claimed so it's just standard strategy to say he's confirmed inno until we find evidence to the contrary. However, neither of them have confirmed Vinos alignment, so I must ask. Why are you attacking Notty and unu? You're trying to paint people who are most likely town as a mafia team in order to save your own skin. Throwing townies under the bus isn't a town sided action it's scum. to me this really just screams a mafia trying to save their own skin.

Why are you attacking Notty and unu?

Ye so what I wrote there about Notty was a mistake from my side. I was busy and read something Notty said, and acted the way I did because of that. However, I quickly found out sarcasm is hard for me. I know this might be a kinda lame excuse, and I agree, but that is all I got.

Unu on the other hand, I felt he was the one raising suspicion on me with no 'valid' (going after my playstyle, and the fact that I wasn't really active, after I explained I was away for the weekend) reason, which is why I went after Unu. Actually I only also went after Vino after he started accusing me of lying.

But, about more that you said.

In these posts I've felt like you're over reacting a bit.

You may see it as over reacting, it may be over reacting, I am not sure. At the start of day 1 I voted Vino for no particular reasons, after which, in my eyes, my intentions got misinterpreted causing some suspicion to fall over me. After that I tried to reply to the thread occasionally, but as I have said multiple times, this weekend I had little time, and my participation to mafia took the hit. When I came back, I personally felt like I had become lynch target #1, and was going to stay it, unless I did something fast. Hence, I answered the questions and claimed to convince everyone they should not lynch me. You said, there were only 3 votes on me, which is true, but I had seen some more people being suspicious (interception here, just wanted to say my laptop crashed here, and was really scared I had to type it all again, luckily it had synched with my phone on time and now I am continuing typing this post), and felt like there was no other way of preventing more votes for me besides claiming.

It appears it did not really make a difference, but who knows I am still alive, so we'll see.

Personally I'd prefer if we didn't lynch HK. In my eyes he dosen't seem very suspicious. What I find most suspicious is that he has claimed 2 roles and kinda dosen't defend himself. Hes probably going to get lynched anyway so I might aswell speed up the process \o/

The citizens of ZUPLAR gather round HKCaper, pushing him towards the broken fountain, where the noose hangs down, awaiting him. He is forced into the rope, forced to climb the fountain, and forced to jump off at the top. He hangs, and kicks, and struggles, and with a final splutter of choked breath, dies.

After a pause, the citizens turn their eyes from the lifeless body of HKCaper and look towards the screen above. It flickers, and reads:

Moments after everybody had converged, the City Tannoy system bleeped, and a voice came through - a voice instantly recognisable to be that of the President's himself.

"Just a reminder to all Zuplar residents that Ltin Corporation products are currently at half price, I highly encourage that you purchase some. That is all."

The citizens, after hearing this message, then turn to the screen, which reads:

Alright I am the prophet: Dreams of a role in the setup every night. Sees three players in thedream, one of whom has this role.

So I had a dream that told me one of these 3 is The President: Mul, Foggy or Iggy

Wait... So is Ltin president or am I missing something?
