[OOC: JKangaroo, would you like to have been friends from before the Apocalypse? Or would you rather our run in with each other to be a somewhat more interesting encounter?]
[OOC: Although being friends originally might be nice- I don't think it really fits. And besides, who can resist such an interesting encounter when we are total strangers? :3
Anyways, I'll be posting a response in a bit]

"The scent of an oncoming shower and the unpleasant sight of dark clouds mixing its foul colour had been hovering over the desolate city since my arrival here in this hell-hole...
I knew it was just a matter of time, but with this downpour...
But If I ever run into one of those... "things," this rain may very well be the doom..."

I shook my head to clear myself of those thoughts, some dew that had formed in my hair from the rain sprayed onto the surrounding concrete. There was no use standing around, there was to much work to do before night arrived; and every second was precious.
Slipping my hood over my eyes, I quickly shimmied up the dangling rope toward the awaiting floor, pieces of rubble and stone trickling down. from where my pickaxe had lodged itself, onto my face.
"A month or two of scavenging really lets you pick up some useful skills, doesn't it?" I thought to myself as I climbed.

Luckily, the 3rd floor was almost as desolate as the city appeared to be, I noted as I pulled myself up onto the cold surface. The glass panes of the convenience store were only a few feet away; the darkness emanating from the interior.
Before I ventured further, I decided to make my pick as secure as it could be, leaving it in its original location: You never knew when a speedy getaway was needed, and that rope was my only option if I ever found myself in a sticky situation.
I slipped out one of my knives from its place on my belt, holding my breath as I slunk along the wall.

"Nothing." I thought, scanning the interior for any signs of a struggle or movement.
"It's empty; Guess this is my lucky day." Slipping my dagger back into its sheath, I ventured into the store, searching for the necessities in the rubble and dust: Food, Water, and Medicinal Drugs...

...And I only pocketed a single, half-eaten can of dried beef...

Incognito was walking in the middle of the city.
While he looks for food and other utilities from the ground he hears something moving behind him. By reflex, Incognito takes out his gun and shoots the moving this right behind him right between the eyes. It was a rat. Way to small to cook he told himself. The next goal of Incognito, after finding supplies, was to find human life that he could work together with to be able to survive this wretched city. While he walks he find a building labeled Walmart. "Today is my lucky day" he told himself. As he goes in he expects to see the store filled with supplies. He was wrong, Almost everything in the store was taken. By luck, Incognito finds 2 cans of beans, a half empty tank of gasoline and some matches. This will be good if he needs to start a fire in whatever situation. After this long day of scavenger hunt he heads back to his apartment to eat some canned beans. They were delicious.

In her search for supplies around the apartment flat a second time, Hika couldn't find very much anything useful. She did find some spare Duracell batteries, most likely dead, but pocketed them anyway. She could use them in a trade, if she finds any sort of life that doesn't plan on sticking in groups-- or, even as a distraction.

She walked back to the sofa, but before she could sit down, she suddenly slipped and fell onto the sofa, pushing it back against the door some more, along with all the other items for the barricade; making quite a lot of noise.

"... Crap," she cursed at herself, as she looked at the clothes lying on the floor, "this'll definitely hurt me in the end..."

She stood up, grabbing her bag, and making sure she had everything in order.

"Well, one thing's for sure..." She moved the sofa, peering into the eyehole, for any movement outside the door, in the hallway. She opened up the door, muttering to herself, "If anyone heard me... They'll be here soon."

She stepped out into the hallway, closing the door slowly and softly behind her. She planned on finding something to keep her warm in this rain at least, before striding off in the middle of this storm. She attempted to open the flat door in front of the apartment she came from, but it was locked. She didn't plan on making too much noise, as she didn't really want to bring the zombies attention to her little haven.

She began to check the other flats, finding they were all locked. She then remembered the first floor, containing the keys, behind the counter. She headed downstairs, in hopes of finding the keys.

Incognito suddenly hears a tremendous amount of noise that came from the building in front of his.

"What the hell was that?" He mumbles to himself.

He goes outside his apartment and goes to the other building. While he reaches the door, he hears someone going down stairs, taking out his commando knife, before striking he burns a match and throws it in the building to see if it may be another human life form.

"God damn it." I said. "God fucking damn it, why are they still here..." I looked out of the window and saw a family pack their car, ready to leave. They were loading in all sorts of useless shit, clocks, plates you name they probably loaded it in. They're lucky that those zombies heard the screams of the other survivor and went after her instead. They didn't even attempt to help her; they told her to fuck off and take all of these monsters with her. Assholes...

And as I was about to put this away I hear screams from outside, those basterds are getting attacked by zombies. The car isn't working, I'll be right back. *Loud bangs are heard and the screams stop*

There, I shot the zombies and the family thanked me and drove off. Idiots, I probably attracted more then I should've this way. I've got to get out of here; I would've been out of here if not for those idiots. Yep, as I thought; there's loads of them out there now. God damn it.

I heard a voice coming from the floor above, asking if anyone was here. I remained silent. I had no clue what intelligence zombies' had, even if they literally walked into a path of death. After a moment or few of complete silence the "thing" is moving throughout my house and identifying different creaks in the floorboards the "thing" heads into the kitchen. The "thing" seems joyed, although I had no idea what about... The mysterious creature leaves my house - luckily not inspecting the basement.

I waited about an hour in my basement before I decided the best thing would to be to go outside, into the zombie infested city - or perhaps even world. I make my way up the stairs and peer out the window and wonder if it's safe but for the hell of it, I leave, making sure I take anything that may come in use with me. I jam a bowl, box of matches and clingfilm, I would have took some heatpads but they seemed to have disappeared. I stuff the things into my backpack and swing it over my shoulders. I stuff the swiss army knife in my pocket prepared for any attacks.

I turn the door knob and give the door a gentle push. I tip-toe outside, very paranoid. I sigh and wonder if the zombie outbreak will ever end.

((OOC: Sorry but- What is this event that you are speaking of? In any case, if this is such an event, I guess you have the ability to start it whenever you want to, since as you started the Roleplay, I guess that makes you like the "Storymaster." But I suggest you let anyone else who wants to play add their character in fist. [Like Duffie!
...
And I have no further Roleplay for now, I'll just remain at my previous post where I was climbing up the building! I may add more when others post))

OCC: The event, will be something that will happen, and maybe make everyone want to go in the city

here i go!

*Walks over the street*
Wait a sec, i hear something
*Sees a helicopter*
WHOA!!!! Yeah! Finally a helicopter to get out of this!! HEY!!!!! OVER HERE!!!

now your turn to go in the city and see what will happen :3

I stroll down some streets, knowing that anything could jump out at me, whether it be a zombie, animal or survivor. Then there was a large gust of wind... It wasn't natural. I look around me and see nothing until I looked up. I saw a helicopter actually landing in the city, this was a chance to escape and get away! I run (well, limp) to the sight then I see a figure, not a zombie nor animal but an actual human... A survivor! I tell myself I must be dreaming but it was only true. I go to the site and am speechless, the only word that escapes is "Hi..."

OCC: Can't reply for a while, possibly until tomorrow! c:

Was Kind of hoping people would be able to get some stories going before anything major happened like a helicopter, because then we can set a kind of pace and role-play a bit better...
Cause that kind of sucks... But oh well.
Maybe only part of the city can see the Helicopter? :3 (Like where you and Ooglie are?)

...A half-eaten can of dried beef...
I just looked at that rusty can with disdain...
I knew there probably wouldn't be much inside old store with its broken-down and rusted shelves, but I had hoped for at least something of worth... Just not this...
I sighed and was just about to slip the can into a pocket of my backpack when a loud, grinding noise reached my ears from the floor below. I had jumped with a start.

"What the hell..." I swore under my breath, racing out back into the open.
I kneeled before my make-shift grappling hook that was lodged in the broken concrete, pulling up the dangling rope I had left behind and wrapping it around my shoulder, wielding the pick in my right hand; I was rushing.
"Who, or what was that..." I gasped out as I leaned out against the railing, of the apartment flat, looking to find both the source of the screeching noise, and for a stairway down.

That was my first mistake.

A figure, bathed in white, but shadowed by the darkness of the looming structure was directly below me, wielding what looked like a gun, at least, from my perspective it appeared so.
I sneered, and fell back against the cold, rock wall, hoping he had not seen my figure darting back into the safety of the shadows.
It was rare, but I had panicked.

That was my second mistake.

I ran. I didn't know where I was going, but I knew I had to get out of there, and fast.
The only way out was down...
Straight through that man.
A one on one encounter.
I doubled my pace as I ran down the rocky staircase... Downwards...

What I didn't expect, was yet another.
I ran straight into a small figure...

A figure donned in purple...

That, I would soon find--- Was not a mistake.

Into the unknown...

I went...
...Downstairs.

OCC: yup, only me, ooglie, duffie and vati have heard the helicopter, maybe you're a bit far away of the helicopter, but something will happen after the helicopter that will make the first zombie horde here :3

[OCC: You have some powerful flipping ears to hear that, while outside, and during a storm.

I'll update later tonight. Eating and watching YouTube.

Also, Smarties.]

(OCC: this is Wierd and confusing. I was in my base and I went over to duffies building cause I heard the noise he caused.)
[[ OOC: I think Duffie's saying that what had happened with the noise was not that especially loud enough for someone like--- Another building away to really hear, and only people like, near or in the building would hear the noise that his character accidentally caused. (Since reading your post, you were inside your "base" when it occurred. Along with the rain currently falling in the world, the rain would moderately drown out the noise from most people from hearing?

That's what I'm perceiving. If that's true--- Then that may explain some things.

Also, I'll be glad when we don't have to have so many Out of Character posts... Breaks the immersion.

Anyways, I'll just stick with my post and see what happens, since your character Vati is at the flat.]]

(OCC: JKangaroo I can make a post to make it seem like I am not in the building and that I heard something else. Will post somthing about it soon)
[[ I feel all this correcting / whatever is just messing up whats actually happening. ._.
I did say I didn't know if that's what Duffie actually meant or not, so I guess its up to you.
It might just be better to leave it as it is... There are already a few posts and if we keep changing what we saw, we'll just keep getting confused and get nowhere.
Again its up to you.
Would like Duffie 's thoughts though.
I'm really confused and don't know what's on topic right now. :/]]

[OCC: It is what JK says. It was in a whole other building, which is why I stated that your character has powerful ears. :p

Just seems weird for that to happen, as it wasn't as loud as, say, a rocket launcher hitting a building. It was just loud enough for people nearby to hear, such as a lamp falling in a building.]

Incognito charges into the building since he has not heard any human respond to his burning match.
He stabs a Zombie right in the neck, blood everywhere.
Not a nice scene at all.
The zombie was still moving, trying to make his way to Incognito’s leg.
Before he could reach his goal, the white dressed man plants a bullet right between the zombies eyes.
He hears other sounds from the same building; he deduces that it must be more zombies.
Incognito runs back to his apartment and stays rechecks the traps just in case the zombies smell him here.
He will most definitely have to move out of this base after tomorrow since there is zombie activity in this area. Incognito sits down in a torn sofa thinking of what to do.

[OCC: there ya go all is fixed, nuff said]
