Very sad to see the classic servers go down, I always enjoyed going on them. If anyone still likes going on classic, please PM me, because classic needs all the teamwork it can get in order to stay alive.

Exactly this. But we all have to move along at one point, and now is that point. Classic has lasted an outstanding 3 and a half years, and it's all thanks to you guys. You all contributed to the classic servers in a different way, and now, the era of classic has ended. Thank you all.I feel as if my childhood has shattered. R.I.P Classic.
This music seems to sum up how I feel: sad, emotional.
This just came to my attention. This was indeed inevitable, but its sad to see it come. Lots of good memories from Zombies, some I couldn't forget even if I wanted to. I enjoyed the time I spent on the server, time of which was well spent. I'd like to thank all the people I played with too for making it as enjoyable a experience as it was, and everyone else who put in their time to play keeping the server going. Until next time, peace.

Come back after a week and this is what I find.
I'm definitely sad, because I started on the Lava server and I had fun. Worked my way up from Trusted to TNT Head Controller and then I resigned, got op, resigned, op again, resigned and got op again and then I resigned again. I had loads and loads of fun staffing and stuff. I knew it would come to this at some point, but now that it finally happened, I'm sad to see it go. I've grown so close to this community it feels like losing a good friend.
Well, you guys will always have the premium servers, I guess. Have fun!

Lava Survival introduced me to this great community. It's where I started out in Minecraft. Thanks to everyone that took the time to visit the server, even if it was just once. I really enjoyed staffing there.
If it were not for classic I would have never had spoken to my friend, Kylieanna and my bond with my other friend Toiletprincess would be weaker then it is today. Most of us will be sad on this day, some angry but descisions are made and promises kept.

All my regrets from the previous mistakes I have made as a minecraft n00b that ruined my blocktopia gameplay.

All barriers fell, racial and more
All anyone cared to see was the score
From the mightiest Blue pwning the small feeble Reds
To the Zombies dropping Humans like they're already dead
And even now as the end draws near
The Blocktopians hold close what they hold most dear
and as the sun sets on the grand Classic era
The players face what they deeply fear
And before the servers are gone, as far as we can tell

Also, zombie players, you guys rock. First Blocktopia server I ever came to and translating into Premium the last server I ever played seriously.
Premium sucks, I will never buy Premium, and i think this is a bad decision, i can see how you think it would be better to just end it, but there a lot of people out there that think my way, and by doing this, you probably lost more people, premium or not, than gained people. Just my thoughts on the matter. Well with that said, i only came on lava, and now i'll go somewhere else to have fun, good day.
Closing the classic servers wasn't an attempt at trying to gain more players; it was closed because we were paying extra money on servers that hardly brought in any more players. While we may have lost a small portion of whoever still played on them, it just simply wasn't worth holding onto something that was more of a hindrance than a benefit. It was never going to get better and would continue on a slow, downward path.
