Hello all of you "Fairy Tail" fans out there! Announcement today that the anime is restarting April 2014. Glad to see it return and can't wait for the new episodes :D
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-12-28/fairy-tail-anime-restarts-in-april
(It seems like it is restarting and not new episodes. New Studio, Same Actors, Better Art, apparently. Fairy Tail is Fairy Tail, but still D: Unless I read it wrong.)
That really really sucks...
Hopefully I read it wrong and it means that "restart" is new episodes, starting from where it left off. Restarting from the very beginning doesn't make sense. I think using the word "continue" might have made more sense than "restart".
Edit:
Apparently I missed the word "return" in that article, so it is a continuation of the series from where it left off. Don't worry about me, just Ol' Howard going senile for not reading/not believing his first interpretation of the article. :/

K1ngHoward vati180 With Sword Art Online:Extra Edition, it seems that it is a recap of the Aincrad and Fairy Dance arcs with some new footage according to this site.

EDIT:
Started watching Shakugan no Shana.

Here is the official synopsis from Crunchyroll on the episode:
Kirito and the others decide to go on an underwater quest within the world of ALO to grant Yui her wish to see a whale. As they all prepare for the quest, they face a shocking revelation…Leafa, or Suguha is afraid of water. So, Asuna and the other female members decide to teach Suguha how to swim at a pool in the real world. Meanwhile, Kirito was meeting somebody…
The people who have read the light novels are saying that GGO arc starts with Kirito "meeting someone" which is what the end of this synopsis states, so it could be leading up to a new season. Though this is just here-say, I am very interested in the possibility that it is an introduction to the new season :3 Either way it will be awesome to watch it. :D

Edit:
Found out that "Space Dandy", the new anime created by the entire creative team of "Cowboy Bebop", will be airing the Dub simultaneously as the Sub is coming out. Adult Swim will be airing the Dub while Japan stations will continue with the usual release schedule. I find this very interesting. :D

Edit:Edit:
Apparently "Hanamonogatari" the story after "Monogatari Series: Second Season" is confirmed to be airing in 2014. So much news being reported. :D

Guys season 2 of Sword Art Online is confirmed for launch in 2014!

Also the special is airing right now. It is two hours and can be viewed on Crunchyroll and Daisuki.
https://www.daisuki.net/saoee
http://www.crunchyroll.com/sword-art-online/episode-1-648529
I would go with Daisuki due to it being available to more countries and has 5 different subtitles.
Judging by the ass shot we're going to have to endure atleast a little more fanservice
Sorry about that I couldn't control whoever made that as the screenshot for the video. I wish another shot would have been more preferred, but still it isn't about the screenshot, but the message. :3 This new year just keeps getting better and better. I have three things to be excited about in 2014 :D

Completed "Sword Art Online: Extra Edition"
Completed "Kyoukai no Kanata"

>>>>"Kyoukai no Kanata" also known as "Beyond the Boundary", introduces us with Kuriyama, the last surviving member of the cursed blood clan and a spirit warrior. The Spirit warriors job is to kill Youmu that pose a danger to the world and are formed by the ill will of people. These monsters live together with humans, but many are out to harm others rather than live peacefully, so it is the job of Kuriyama and other spirit warriors to keep the balance of the world and protect the town. Kuriyama meets up with Akihito, an immortal half-youmu, who she has a passion to stab and distance herself from. Though she decides to distance herself from him he attempts to break down her barriers and help her to become a better spirit warrior and to gain more friends.
>>>>The show was very beautifully drawn and has great choreography in the fighting where every moment is as smooth as silk while adding in the small traces of fatigue into the character that shows the true weight of their weapons and actions. The glasses would be the best I have seen as actually looking and acting like normal glasses with reflection, shimmer, and Kuriyama fixing or cleaning them as an item actually containing glass rather than for a stereotypical item. The ending was satisfying, but left more questions than answers and a very difficult to understand ending that will leave you trying to understand from what has been given, but unable to find the answers desired. Another high point for the series would actually be its romance even though it is not a romance anime, it contains enough to feel the depression, sadness, and happiness between the couple as they learn to grow closer and sacrifice themselves for the other. Great 12 episodes, but needs more to answer the questions left off from this series.

Going to watch "Bakuman" due to it being on my "hold" list for too long and better late than never to start and finish it. Has three seasons full of 25 episodes so it should be fairly interesting.

[Comedy Drama, Slice of Life, Romance, School] (3 Seasons) (25 episodes per season)

I just finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It's amazing, and I'd recommend it to absolutely everyone who wants to watch an anime for whatever reason, simply because it is great all the way through. 10/10 easily.

The only thing that would've made it better would be Ling remaining a Homunculus so Greed could rule Xing. I guess Ling ruling Xing is good enough, though ;)

Finished "B Gata H Kei"
Finished "Madoka Magica The Movie: Beginnings"
Finished "Kick-Heart"
Finished "Bakuman.", "Bakuman. 2", "Bakuman. 3"

>>>>B Gata H Kei: The dream of the main character is to bang 100 guys all in high school, a weird and crazy dream, but there is only one thing that can stop her! She is still a virgin, and picky none the less on who she wants to take away her "V-card." After choosing a man who is also a virgin she tries her best to lose her "V-card" to this man though will she attain her dream of banging 100 guys or get lost in the soul of her chosen "V-card-taker." A funny comedy since her own shortcomings and insecurities lead her down embarrassing and mystical paths down the love she does not desire. Also Nudity Warning!
>>>>Madoka Magica the Movie: Beginnings: Movie version of the first half of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica", due to "spoilers" can't say much other than go watch the anime before you watch this version.
>>>>Kick-Heart: Twelve Minute movie about a wrestler. It was an okay movie, best go watch it since I can't really give anything out due to it's short nature.
>>>>With no goal or dream in life to accomplish in the senior year of middle school Akito, the highest ranking student in their school comes up to Mashiro to ask him to become a magaka, a manga author, with him. Mashiro having seen the difficulties of becoming a mangaka from his late uncle, he is reluctant at first until he finds out the love of his life, Azuki, is planning on becoming a voice actor. From the sheer embarrassment of talking to the love of his life he joins up with Akito as a mangaka pair and makes it his dream to follow in the footsteps of his uncle and get an anime adaptation. Not only has he finally found his calling in life, but asks for Azuki's hand in marriage when both of their dreams come true. Azuki agrees to this proposal and now begins the race to attain an anime adaptation to allow for the love of his life to become his wife, but it isn't an easy path to become a Mangaka as they previously thought it would and it takes strong perseverance and hard work to allow them to attain this goal in life.
>>>>I at first did not want to watch this due to it being a "slice of life" show and didn't expect much from it in value entertainment knowing nothing about how manga is made and I expected it to attempt to focus on school life. Instead it focused on what makes a "slice of life" great, the characters and story. The story is an interesting and informational set-up as we travel through their struggles attempting to be serialized finding it to be a difficult and complicated process that is kept fresh with the most informational and interesting scenes kept at the front and nary a filler to be found. The continuation felt smooth and fast as the needed time skips were used to effectively keep it up beat and alive during each episode. A rare show that left me anxious as they waited for that phone call to tell them they either won or lost, the tension and fear that their work was for nothing truly gripped me when they finally got the call they wanted and the celebration begins to their next stage in their career. If I haven't convinced you to watch it go now! It is such a great series with an actual ending too! (I have watched too many "To-be-continued" series and having an actual ending was such a great breath of fresh air. Another great point was that in such a long time I could not guess what would happen next with every twist in the episodes, I couldn't guess what would happen with twists almost around every corner. I am kind of ashamed that I finished 75 episodes in only 10 days, but it was so good I couldn't stop. T_T
Duffie If you need a romance comedy try this one. 75 episodes of pure awesomeness.

Going to watch "HyperDimension Neptuna: The Animation"

[Parody Action Comedy Sci-fi Fantasy Supernatural] (12 episodes)
It's cute, heard about this a while back, let's give it a shot.
My anime I am watching this winter: "Nobunaga the Fool", "World Conquest Zvezda Plot", "Space Dandy" (Both sub and dub at same time), "Super Sonico: The Animation"

Have you watched Toradora, maybe you can watch that. Unless you finished Toradora.
oh no oh no
Why the oh no? :<

Do you dislike tsundere or something? :p
If you like Tsunderes and Romance Comedies, you should totally watch "Zero no Tsukaima" (four seasons 50 episodes). It does some great transitions between comedy and romance where it can leave you mushy from the romance, but not forget about its comedic roots.
I-It's not like I am trying to help you find a show or anything... b-baka.
(The video is from "Nichijou" not "Zero no Tsukaima", but we were talking about tsunderes so I thought it was appropriate.)

It took me a really long time, but I can finally put into words why I hate toradora and MOST ESPECIALLY Monogatari. I have a really hard time with animes where the characters can't act like rational people.
Good: In Attack on Titan, Eren's mom dies in the first episode which prompts him to basically become this really angry guy with an oath. Perfect. That's what I would do.
Bad: In toradora, this girl thinks that the main character read her love letter, so naturally she goes to his house in the middle of the night and tries to kill him. An example from Monogatari is when the main character doesn't want his sister to go meet a psychic in a back alley she tries to kill him.
