That's all? Nothing more? Wow okay.
Disappointments are Disappointing...
Whats better than getting drunk on TS?

Seriously though, we will probably wreck a bit havoc on the servers, but this will mostly be a get together party for the entire community, and TS is great for that =)

teamspeak may be the most exciting thing in this community in fact u r the one disappointing me
How about you actually read the fucking OP now. If you don't want to attend, don't come - I'm more than fine with it.
I had already read it.
we will have a TeamSpeak (and takeover the servers) night with friends(and alcohol)
I just had a slightly different idea in my head.

Wonderful, now I get to repeat what I said because someone failed to read it; moreover - I get to read it slowly and personally now.

That's all? Nothing more? Wow okay.
Disappointments are Disappointing...
5 years ago this month, TheOnes Lava Survival began in '09. Now this July, we shall celebrate with small games and events. I believe this community has survived so long not because of the servers, but because of the people. And for the first event - the people will gather as we have done so many times in the past.
Notice how there is an "S" on the games and events. That is plural, which means multiple. This is our first clue that there is more coming than just a TS event. I also put "first" in there too, this time I bolded it so you can clearly read it. Usually, when someone uses a transitional word like first it signifies there is likely something to come thereafter as already aforementioned.
On Saturday, July 12th (5PM EST), we will have a TeamSpeak (and takeover the servers) night with friends (and alcohol), I will try to reunite all the people who made this community the place it has been for the past years. So if you would like to help - spread the word to people whom aren't active here anymore. Come join in for some drinks and laughs!

Baker also has plans to continue the fun later this month with another event.

I don't know why that is so disappointing to you. Personally, I'm actually looking forward to just talking to the people and playing on our servers like we did years ago. The servers aren't what made this community, it was the people - which I already said in the original post. But really each to their own, carrying on...

Here is another instance where I said this way not going to be the only thing we do for the 5 year anniversary. I think time was most clear.

I had already read it.

I just had a slightly different idea in my head.
What exactly did you read? Now that I went through and analyzed this post for you where I said on multiple accounts that this isn't all we're doing, what in the lords name possessed you to type that first response?

I see....What about us with No[BCOLOR=#ff0000] TS[/BCOLOR]? will we be left out....those loners in the corner with no friends just themselves! too bad I don't wanna speak.

Teamspeak doesn't necessarily mean you have to speak, only listen, but this is a good thing because TS needs exposure more than other servers

Or you can type and sometimes not be noticed =D
Well there are two reasons why you might type:
1.) You don't have a mic.
2.) You don't want to talk.

Simple fixes really. I can understand both. With the first, that's money to spend, and you have perfectly usable headphones, so why change anything? That's cool, but if they break, or if you want to upgrade, look into a headset or a desk mic, or a built in microphone in your computer and it makes it much easier to communicate.

The second is a little different, and I find it harder to understand why you wouldn't want to talk. Imagine if you were around a table talking to people and there were 2 silent people at the table who added their input to the conversation by sending a mass text every time they wanted to speak. That's no fun, no one wants to check that, so sometimes it leads to them being ignored. Now imagine that everyone at the table is playing a game that requires their attention a majority of the time... even worse. Come on Teamspeak sometimes and just listen to people talk if you're uncomfortable or start by joining channels with your friends only, then as you get more used to the environment you'll have less inhibitions about using your voice.

Teamspeak is easily our greatest server because the friendships you already have on the server can become stronger with more consistent and life like communication that can also be geared away from just Minecraft more easily. On top of that, you can essentially meet whichever new people you want just by joining a different channel. I understand that at the current time cliques seem indomitable, but the more people on Teamspeak, the more mingling is bound to happen and I'd love to see the environment take off. But that requires everyone's cooperation
