When we arrive back at the group, I strangely don't want to talk to anyone. I just feel the need to be alone. Ross questions Cairne about the bush we found, and while he does, I tap him lightly on the shoulder and whisper quickly into his ear, "Thanks for helping me find some food." After that, I walk a little and sit down facing away from everybody, resting my back against a tree trunk. Once again, I feel the warmth of the sun and a light breeze. Knowing that everybody is nearby makes me strangely warmer and safer as well. I close my eyes and allow a couple more tears to roll down my cheeks as I think about the strange voice I heard in the mirror. What is my curse?
