Completed "A Certain Magical Index"
Completed "A Certain Magical Index 2"
Completed "A Certain Scientific Railgun"
Completed "A Certain Scientific Railgun S"
Completed "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Movie: Gurren-Hen"
Completed "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Movie: Lagann-Hen"

____Usually I go over the plot and story of the anime, but going over 96 episode/4 separate seasons would take too long. Going to do a quick wrap up of my views. :3
____Index 1, opens great into developing about the character Index and the hidden magical world. Instead of focusing primarily on Index it does gives points of views to different characters like Misaka and Accelerator (Favorite Character in series).
____Railgun 1, leaned more towards a basic all-girl slice of life series with a minuscule underlying theme that came together as an amazing and spectacular finish for both halves of the series. With the slow beginning and middle I didn't expect anything big, but the spectacular finish came out of right field and left me wanting more.
____Index 2, It delved more into the magical spectrum and corruption of the church, but left Index behind in the dust. She wasn't an integral part of this season even though her name is in the title. Other than that I enjoyed the arcs, but wished they had more gradual movements into other arcs. Once one arc was finished, you were thrown directly into the next with no time for any sight seeing. The ending left a good sized cliff hangar and I am waiting patiently for another season.
____Railgun S, A great side-story focusing on Misaka and her sisters. 3/4 of the season was dedicated to her and her sister problems which was what I wanted to see in the first Railgun. With Touma making appearances too, the scene with him and Accelerator was given an upgrade via art, style, and dialogue with improved insights into what the characters were thinking. The last quarter went back to the original Railgun style of more insight into the city mechanics, but contained a better extensive plot and mystery surrounding the events than just "going out with the girls".
After watching "Gurren Lagann" last year I finally decided it was time to watch the two movies and I still found the same rush and excitement from the anime series with the movies being recaps of the series with minor alterations and visual upgrades.

Going to watch:
"Servant x Service"

[Comedy Slice of Life] (13 episodes)
____No real reason to watch this, but decided I might do so for the sheer fact that my favorite site finally uploaded the entire series. :3 Might watch "Free!" next.

Loved the comedy and romance involved (Even though it isn't truly a romance genre). Reminded me of the anime "Working!!" with the same principle and focus on the characters in their job. It contained good amount of romance between the characters to make me like the pairings and each character brought their own unique spice when paired with other people.

Going to watch "Maoyuu Maou Yuusha"

[Adventure Fantasy Romance] (12 episodes)
I thought I needed to watch more romance anime. I picked one at random one on my extremely large "To watch list".

Completed "Black Rock Shooter OVA"

____Though I went into Maoyuu with the idea of enjoying a romance it wasn't a romance anime in the usual sense. The two characters did have their "relationship", but wasn't truly explored deeply. Now this did surprise me though as it took a different approach to the usual wars that happen in action animes. Instead of focusing just on one side of the battle and the battles alone the main characters actually started a second war wielding the mighty weapon called "politics and economics." With this weapon in this new war they wish to bring peace and stability by ending the current war against demons and humans and remove the corruption from both societies. I thought that I would get a good ending, but was left with a somewhat satisfying cliff hanger that left me wanting more to explore in this newly painted war. This just solidifies the fact that 12-14 episode animes don't usually have enough time for an ending (except for "Madoka Magica" and "Angel Beats").
____Black Rock Shooter OVA was released before the anime and doesn't even hold a chance against the 8 episode anime.
____Found out that Clannad has a movie and I really want to watch it, but I don't know if I can handle boarding that emotional roller coaster again. It has been 9 months since I watched Clannad, and my tolerance against getting all mushy from seeing a picture of them has increased so I may be strong enough to watch the movie.

Currently watching "Ga-Rei:Zero"

[Action Superpower Thriller] (12 episodes) (2008)
Watched 7 episodes already, but placing the series on hold because of Finals (ugh). Good mystery anime where it begins to slowly paint the picture that leads up to the conclusion.

Finished both seasons of Code Geass. That was one emotional roller coaster. I had never been so affected by one character before, even my favourite character Hei from my favourite show Darker Than Black has never made me felt so depressed and yet relieved at the same time. This show is perfect with its numerous plot twists, hell I even spoilered myself many times and yet the show never failed to bring me surprises. I feel like I need to let out all of my emotions and do this show justice, so here's a major rant that I wouldn't recommend anyone who hasn't watched/finished the seasons to read.

I really teared up at the scene of Lelouch's death. That smile of joy as if he had a heavy load off his shoulders and the realisation that struck Nunnally pained me, yet brought me a sense of relief. What really tore me the most was how Nunnally realised how Lelouch was one big liar till the end, carrying upon the world's focused hatred upon him so as to fulfil Nunnally and others' dreams of a more peaceful world, and boy he did. The painful expression on Lelouch's face when he lied to his sister and portrayed himself as a bad guy almost made me tear up as well. Overall I really sympathised with Lelouch in S2, I saw that part of myself in him during the times when he felt desperation and an overwhelming sense of loneliness. He wasn't a coward, he didn't die in vain, he is one badass for playing as Messiah and one asshole for messing up other's feelings for him. Overall I'm glad he died, I'm more willing to interpret his death as a happy ending since his death would finally put an end to the pain he was bearing, and allow him to rest happily in peace.

Long live Lelouch vi Britannia, Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire and the 99th Emperor of Britannia. R.I.P. <3

Completed "Danganronpa"
Completed "Unbreakable Machine Doll"

None of the tabs have spoilers just got a bit long is all.
>>>>15 students are trapped inside of a high school and propositioned to either stay inside forever or kill one of their fellow classmates to attain freedom. This game has been instigated by a bear known as Monokuma, and attempts to turn the high schoolers against each other to attain their demise by their own hand. Aiming to attain freedom and defeat this bear our heroes must band together and keep their wits to gain the freedom they so deserve, but is it wise to be free? The show was very entertaining showing a strong combination between "Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney"(this is a game not an anime, for your information) and "Death Note" (with a dash of "Madoka Magica") with a ton of mystery and detective sleuthing to figure out the cause of the deaths and killers in the series. The "Death Note" reference refers to the ability to figure out for yourself how the clues match together, but needing the episodes to complete a clearer picture to throw right winged curve balls out of nowhere from discrepancies in what the characters say. I love the way the show combines the use of happy game show elements while still containing the darkness that is seen through the bright colors and flashy classrooms. Great animation and I am loving the ending song over the opening. Heard rumors there is a second season confirmed and would like another season if it is coming out, but it does not need another and has been added to my small list of "<14 episodes with good endings"
>>>>The world is filled with spiritual monsters ranging in strength and it is the duty of the squads to exorcise them and bring peace to the world. Though this sounds like a simple task it is fraught with danger since any of their own comrades can become a spiritual monster if they stray from the path. Her step sister, Yomi, has now become one and we must figure out why she has become one and decide whether the main character, Kagura, can kill her to bring peace to the world. A great anime filled with lots of mystery and drama due to the relationship between the two sisters. Their bond makes it all the more heart wrenching as the episodes continue on. The opening song is very catchy and had me on high levels of excitement rivaled by the openings of "Attack on Titan". Great short 12 episode anime.
>>>>Raishin has enrolled in the grand automaton school in Japan just moving from England to attend. Through the death of his family he has become the last heir to his family and wishes to duel the person who killed his family and turned them into banned dolls. The only way for him to duel his opponent is to rise through the ranks by defeating other dolls and puppeteers to become wise man and attain peace of mind from defeating his mortal enemy. This anime was hilariously over-sexualized and the switch between the roles of pervert and cool headed person between the usual male/female pair made it all the funnier. The man was the cool-headed celibate while the girl, Yaya, was the pervert who makes it her life goal for Raishin to marry her. Through the series he picks up more girls for his "harem" from the kindness that Raishin hands out freely easily attracting them and misunderstandings from Yaya. Can Raishin make it to face his mortal enemy or fall prey to his own machine-doll?
Going to watch "Sankarea"

[Comedy Horror Supernatural Romance] (12 Episodes, 2 OVA, 1 Special)
Recommended by a friend and I think it is a pretty weird romance. The way my friend put it, a necrophiliac is dating a zombie. At first i thought that was weird, now I want to see it because it is such a weird romance genre. Got to get my daily dose of romance... with zombies... I guess.

Edit:
SAO:Extra Edition, a two hour special of sword art online airing on December 31, 2013 at 7 AM Standard Pacific Time on Crunchyroll. I can't wait until it airs. Some people have thought that it might include the intro to GGO arc, but these are just rumors.

do you need membership to view it ;c?

Edit: sankarea is really awesome and unique :0
I do not know. I had a look around, but could not find confirmation for this. BUT! I did find that my other favorite site "Daisuki.net"** is also simulcasting it, with 5 different language subtitles and me knowing for sure that it is free, due to previous experience with watching anime on the site. (Note: Daisuki is the new legal streaming site in town and it is my favorite, though lacking in the amount of content, has many great shows lined up and ready to watch/simulcast.)
**(link goes to website with information about Daisuki's simulcast of the event)

Also Vati, weren't you interested in "Monogatari Series: Second Season" a while back? I just wanted to let you know the last episode is airing this Monday so you can get out your popcorn and get ready to marathon it than needing to wait any longer. :3 It was such a great season.

Hello all of you "Fairy Tail" fans out there! Announcement today that the anime is restarting April 2014. Glad to see it return and can't wait for the new episodes :D
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-12-28/fairy-tail-anime-restarts-in-april
(It seems like it is restarting and not new episodes. New Studio, Same Actors, Better Art, apparently. Fairy Tail is Fairy Tail, but still D: Unless I read it wrong.)

Completed "Sankarea"
Completed "Monogatari Series: Second Season"

>>>>At the death of Chihiro's family pet, Babu, Chihiro discovers a book that creates a potion to create a zombie. Being infatuated with zombies since he was little he risks the chance of turning his cat into a zombie since he knows he may be the only one who would love him. Through the experimentation he meets a girl who is having family troubles and helps him out with the potion. She then becomes a zombie from drinking the concoction and the perfect girl for Chihiro has been born. The love and strife between the two shall grow and Chihiro learns to live and take care of his zombie girlfriend while trying to fight off the obsessive father. The entire show was very nice in the implementation of the zombie and the romance in general between Chihiro and Rea. The set pieces were absolutely beautiful in some scenes where I even mistook a water scene for a real photo of the water. The true strife works together nicely as the two lovebirds attempt to balance Rea's survival and Chihiro's love to obtain a perfect lasting bond between them.

>>>>A series to truly be marked as splendid and remarkable to write down the human condition in a complex anime that is the continuation of the previous "Bakemonogatari" and "Nisemonogatari". It takes a look into the lives of not only Ararararagi, but the girls around him and make them find their inner weirdness that makes them normal. The normal in this world is the weird in our lives, the liers, the deniers, and the haters all make us normal and unique in this world attempting to box away our individuality. The anime truly was fantastic and wraps up many more stories between the characters and takes a look back to previous arcs and recap the hidden meanings behind those basic themes. I truly cannot recommend this series enough, words are just escaping me about how great this series is and that ending, my god, that ending. It has me jumping around like a rubberball and I haven't felt this ecstatic from an anime ending since "Girls und Panzer" which was maybe 15 animes ago. It will be so hard to wait for another season of this anime, but I have heard a movie is coming out which may sedate me from banging my head waiting for the continuation of the series, but go out and watch it, it is finished and it was spectacular.

I was going to go for another romance anime since I just watched "Sankarea", but after finishing "Monogatari", I am on such a high right now I need to watch an action anime that will result in me fist pumping in the air. Any recommendations would be lovely, but for now, from the few snippits I have seen I will probably see:
"Kyoukai no Kanata"

[Dark Fantasy, Slice of Life, Supernatural] (12 episodes)
Just finished, looks cool, why not?
