I'm not relying on that but looking at notty's "Possible outcomes" none of them show Rev killing mafia, doctor saving someone, toxicologist saving someone, mafia being blocked, rev and mafia targetting the same person.
All these possible variables completely throw a spanner into this grand guesstimate notty keeps spouting because as you really should know, it is impossible to predict mafia games.
Why would you base your gameplan on things happening to work out
If those things do happen then great, our life is easier even in autocracy, if they don't, then at least we're under autocracy and have a decent shot at winning
Dictator kills result in us not knowing the alignment of the victim so we could be shooting ourselves in the foot without realising thus as town we can't adapt as I have said ebfore.
what do you mean 'adapt', can you give a concrete example
Likewise doctor doesn't know who the dictator is the night they're elected, neither does bus meaning they're at full risk of dying every night. The only certain way we could catch the rev with the dictator route would be to put the watcher in the council so they know who the dictator is and they can see who targeted them upon death.
they'd have much better chance at surviving if we elected 5 uncc town instead of 3, although I get your point
but you're just repeating how autocracy has risks and democracy could happen to work out if we get lucky despite it also having (more) risks but I dont understand why you'd want to go with the 2nd option when the 1st has less risks
Also watcher doesn't see who targets their target if their target dies
but autocracy is riskier and is less in our hands due to the ambiguity of it.
what does this mean

Democracy is harder and relies on us making better choices and putting in 110% to catch mafia, but autocracy is riskier and is less in our hands due to the ambiguity of it.
You have to remember mafia have more information than us regarding who's who, so why take away even more information from town?
because the information we'd be losing would probably outweigh the negatives because unless we get lucky, democracy is gonna end us the game
the post notty made was a fairly optimal town play where we only mislynched/miskilled
one time and we still lost
if a doc saves a couple people, awesome, we get a grand total of like 2 mislynches or miskills
the PRs aren't going to magically make democracy a winning idea because they're not powerful enough
democracy = couple mislynches/miskills but we don't risk dictator winning (which can be prevented by switching to democracy before that happens anyway) and we get role reveals
autocracy = more mislynches/miskills except we risk dictator winning (which can be prevented by switching to democracy before that happens anyway) and we don't get role reveals
to my mind 2nd option is better but I see your concern with it I guess
